Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@DelurkingAJ Oh no what a pain! But glad you got one in the end. JL usually does have good service. I’ll hold my nerve and hope it does arrive soon. It does appear to actually have been sent back looking at the tracking info so maybe mine wasn’t a mistake....no idea why it’s been returned though.

Rowdythree · 01/10/2020 13:47

Longtime lucker here, reading the posts about Robert made me smile, we still have our Robert and he is still a firm favourite Grin

I'm looking for Eevee (pokemon) stuff, particularly a onesie if anyone knows of any. They seem quite hard to come by in child's sizes! I know a few pokemon things have been mentioned, so thanks to the pp for those!

Justnapping · 01/10/2020 14:00

I wanted to say how much I love this thread! Great bargains - I got the puppets and the candles 🙌🏻

I just ordered this Molton Brown set on QVC for £54.96, it’s a great price plus it’s actually 3 separate gifts if you want to split up and give to different people (or keep some for yourself!)

Wow, I thought it was about time I looked for the good old MN Christmas bargains thread and you're already on thread nine!

If anyone is looking for Santa sacks, I found these gorgeous personalised ones:

(I'm struggling to do the clicky link thing on my phone so apologies if ig doesn't work!)

fourquenelles · 01/10/2020 14:18

@Clevererthanyou you are a wicked wicked woman Grin. My DDad gave me birthday money this year an I always wanted a Georgian dolls' house. You reminded me. I bought one. Half price.

Just received my Cards against Disney from Onbuy and they were well wrapped and look great. Slight citrus smell but great

Amazonmulu · 01/10/2020 14:45

My DD (4) wants a doll that changes colour for Christmas 🙈 I've only been able to find the Colour Change Barbie.

I'm hoping someone on this thread might know of another colour change doll - think my budget is £20.

TIA!

Restlessinthenorth · 01/10/2020 14:46

@Poniesrock if anyone gets back to you on aprons i would be keen to hear about them too!

superstar84 · 01/10/2020 14:46

I've ordered the colour reveal Barbie mermaid in smyths that's £19.99, dd saw it in the catalogue and has been chatting about it ever since

I think DD would quite like the Barbie but I'm not sure if the doll continues to change colour is some way after the initial reveal. Do you know if it does that?
Anydreamwilldo12 · 01/10/2020 15:18

@Goldistheanswer

Thanks for the link Blindmansbluff I’ve ordered one. It’s a shame that the seller will only allow one to be bought as I wanted one for each DC.
Where abouts do you live if near me I'm happy to get one for you. I'm in London.

Is there a further discount off the £49.99 price, or is that the discounted price? It's been pretty steady at £49 on Amazon, so I might hold out in hopes of a drop on Prime day or Black Friday !

JinglesWish · 01/10/2020 15:30

@Justnapping I’d love to buy the Molton Brown set. Would you be able to refer me please and we both get £10 off?

thelegohooverer · 01/10/2020 15:34

@fourquenelles if you’re looking for furnishings I’ve picked up some lovely bits on Ali Express over the last few years.

Goldistheanswer · 01/10/2020 15:44

Thanks Grrrr that’s so kind of you but I’m not near London. I’m having a horrid day though and your kindness has bought a big smile to my face knowing there are kind people out there.

NeedMoreTea · 01/10/2020 15:46

@Rowdythree
I got this Lego type Evee set by Megaconstrux for DS last year. It's a bit pricy but kept him occupied for ages. I'll try and post a pic.

15% off BAM bamboo clothes with code EC44 www.bambooclothing.co.uk their socks and soft bamboo yoga wear are lovely may be good for gifts

Brogues · 01/10/2020 15:57

@Onelittlepiglet for some reason my lego had been split into two boxes - one arrived today and another should arrive tomorrow unless that’s the one that got returned and the email about tomorrow’s delivery was the one that I actually got today? Who the hell knows! Please I’ve got most of my order anyway.

Someone asked about alternative hamper boxes. In the last I’ve used an ice bucket, plastic fishbowl (for cocktails), lace effect plastic baskets by Curver, I’ve heard of mini plastic bathtubs from Wilko’s and those collapsible milk crates that come in a variety of colours now. I’ve also cheated in the past and used a hard backed book as the base for the hamper where the book was part of the gift.

SingaporeSlinky · 01/10/2020 15:58

If someone was looking for a white chocolate advent calendar, they had them in Asda on a special stand saying it was exclusive to Asda. Can’t find it online though.
