Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I’ve bought the candles..ski lodge for my husband and sister, closest we are going to get to a ski holiday this year!

WisestIsShe · 27/09/2020 08:37

Thanks for the suggestions. I've got the basket above £85 of Lego but it doesn't work for me.

Have also checked zavvi but I need Minecraft Lego and they don't have it.
Please keep your eye out for any other bargains!

TheRosariojewels · 27/09/2020 08:41

Does anyone know where I can get the Rainbow high hair salon? (Not the studio) I can only see it on US sites.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 27/09/2020 08:44

Loving the Christmas ribbons. Thanks @BernardBlackMissesLangCleg
@LostMyRubySlippers Are you signed in to your JL account? Sometimes I think they are account specific. There was a home discount a little while ago that wouldn't work on my account.
Sorry think this was intended for WisestIsShe
It did work ok for me last night when I was playing around although I’ve not actually ordered yet!

mrsdavegrohl · 27/09/2020 08:55

I also bought the candles although only seen them after the price went up slightly, still a nice bargain.
I bought an oversized hoody thing too which was actually on the list for my DD1!

Things I am on the lookout for are discount code for Studio, craft cider hamper, free delivery code for Disney store and hopefully Matalan will do a 20% ish off nightwear again this year so I can buy some onesies!

Code ADISALE is still working on the Adidias website for 30% off full price and further 15% off sale items. Got a nice hoody and t-shirt for DS upcoming birthday

LostMyRubySlippers · 27/09/2020 08:56

Does anyone have a decent code for Studio at all please? There’s one on the site for 10% off but it’s new customers only & I think they usually do better offers than this... I’m sure I had one in the post a few weeks back & threw it away!

Ha! Cross post re studio! How much are you spending in Matalan? There are codes for 5 off £25, 10 off £50 etc?
WickedEmoji · 27/09/2020 08:58

Going back to read all the offers, but markin place as I am looking for some of the following:

Gamer fluffy sock (minecraft etc or even retro like tetris)
Funky chopsticks
Novelty mugs (gamer related)
Roblox "stuff"
Christmas undies!
Novelty chewing gum (just something you dont get down the local shops!)
hot chocolate spoons
american sweets

@whatwillicallmyself

Hi I wonder can anyone remember last year someone posted about a handheld game console with about 20 games on it, not something you could download games onto just already set games on it, I know that's a bit vague but does anyone remember it ?
Maybe the pre loaded new version of the PlayStation 1 console? Think it's £70 on Amazon at the moment but may be cheaper elsewhere.
EmptyFrogBarrel · 27/09/2020 09:07

@WickedEmoji I got a super Mario mug set at game to get the free Mario pencil case. Not sure if that offer is still on!

mrsdavegrohl · 27/09/2020 09:11

Ruby, probably around £50/£60 in Matalan. Will have a Google for codes thanks

LostMyRubySlippers · 27/09/2020 09:15

I think they might be account specific but if you PM me you can have my 10 off 50 if you want to try it?

TheSeedsOfADream · 27/09/2020 09:15

@WickedEmoji iwoot has 5 X £20 on assorted stocking fillers, there are only about 60 things but iirc some are gaming related.

Re: ribbons. (I am obsessed with wrapping, it's my favourite bit!) I tend to buy from China on eBay. Cox and Cox styles, Chinese prices.

Ditto fancy bits and bobs...I'm on the poncetastic thread, (spotting a pattern here Grin) and mooch round Cox and Cox, Sarah Raven etc. Then on eBay find the same (give or take, but in some cases they are the exact products) for a fraction of the price. I love C&C with all my heart, and I have bought from them many times in the past, but cutting out the middle man, you save a fortune. Particularly lights, fancy pots and decorations etc.

Can't find their gorgeous wrapping paper in China though Grin

WhereTheresAHill · 27/09/2020 09:18

@ginabeano sorry someone else beat you to it

thelegohooverer · 27/09/2020 09:22

@BernardBlackMissesLangCleg oh my god that ribbon site! Thank you.

If anyone is doing a movie hamper they have gorgeous film strip ribbon in various colours in the clearance section.

JinglesWish · 27/09/2020 09:24

I only just checked JL Lego code. They’ve price matched to Argos and then there’s the additional 15/20% off, such a good deal!! Unfortunately 3 of the 5 sets I want are out of stock ☹️

CosmicVagina · 27/09/2020 09:24

Horse rider ear muffs

CosmicVagina · 27/09/2020 09:25

@lifelongfrugaleer link for the rider ear muffs above Smile

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/09/2020 09:25

I've got 2 fake oodies in my basket! One for dd1 and one for me! I work in a preschool and its bloody freezing at the moment keeping doors open and being constantly outside thanks to covid!!

Has anyone bought the amazon armwarmers? Are they any good? I've seen some that are 4 pairs for £7.99. I cant afford turtle doves especially as I need several pairs so I can wash each day after work but I keep loosing feeling in my fingers when I get cold 🥶

georgedawes · 27/09/2020 09:27

Thanks so much for the lego JL code, have saved a fortune and got my daughter lots of Harry Potter lego for Christmas! Apologies if already said, but you need to sign up for a JL card (free) for the code to work. Most of the HP lego is price matched to Amazon so bargains to be had.

NewCatMummy · 27/09/2020 09:28

Buns!!
