Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Gruum have 50% off for emergency workers. They will send a code to your work email, details are on the top banner of their webpage

myhobbyisouting · 29/09/2020 15:57

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight thank you!!! Absolute bargain!

We're doing a Christmas market at home and now there will be light! 2 sets ordered

myhobbyisouting · 29/09/2020 15:57

@Yeknom wasn't the biltong less than £10?

I8toys · 29/09/2020 16:09

Lights don't work for me just 50% can't get them down to £7.99.

Yeknom · 29/09/2020 16:09

@myhobbyisouting omg yes of course 🤣 I'm an idiot! Thank you!

Brogues · 29/09/2020 16:13

Thanks @NaturalBlondeYeahRight I was actually after some of these lights. Now just need to figure out where I’ll plug them in!

Tamtam86 · 29/09/2020 16:13

Wow thanks for the lights tip! Amazing deal Smile

Brogues · 29/09/2020 16:18

According to the reviews you might need to buy an extension lead as the first bulb is very close to the plug. Extension lead is just under £10 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TSJPKXZ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/09/2020 16:19

Brilliant deal on the lights, thanks so much! Smile

I8toys · 29/09/2020 16:19

Finally got the lights after signing in and out of my account!

Brogues · 29/09/2020 16:23

I’ve cancelled my order as a number of the reviews are very poor.

MsMiaWallace · 29/09/2020 16:36

I'm after an Xbox too.
I'm thinking of waiting until Black Friday & with the the new one coming out I'm hoping they'll drop in price?

CupoTeap · 29/09/2020 16:37

@JinglesWish

Pleased with the gift tags I ordered from amazon. Pack of 100 for £3.99
They look fab, please can you link?
NeedMoreTea · 29/09/2020 16:39

Ballet dancer Lottie doll has just arrived and is lovely. Thanks to whoever recommended it.

NeedMoreTea · 29/09/2020 16:43

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts
I've been procrastinating over those puzzles. Are they good quality? I mean the puzzle pieces -the box looks lovely! Some puzzles are really thin cardboard if you know what I mean.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/09/2020 16:46
@4Minions2CallMyOwn NEWCUSTOMER20 took 20% off and I got a free hand cream and bought a hand wash for £88 in total
@CosmicVagina Brilliant, thank you so so much! I’ve just managed to get the Calendar, a Spray and also a free Discovery Set worth £10 for £51! Plus free delivery. Considering the Calendar alone is £50 that’s amazing value Flowers

PattyPan · 29/09/2020 16:47

@zeerecords yes, £50 so you wouldn’t have got it - sounds like an good reason to buy more next time 😂 I think there was a glitch because I bought 2 gins and some clothes, and then some port and some more clothes (made the first order really quickly in case the gin sold out before I got to checkout!) so I made 2 orders over £50 but I hadn’t spent over £50 on either clothes or hampers and it hadn’t added the categories together

Octoberfish · 29/09/2020 16:50

This seems like a fun gift - and qualifies for the £10 back on Prime Day.

Just had an email to say that the Lottie Doll website will have 20% off site wide from 8th October. <a class="break-all" href="https://www.lottie.com/pages/early-bird-signup?utm_source=bm23&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image+-+www.lottie.com/pages/early-bird-signup&utm_content=Explore+the+Latest+Strong+Women+Biographies+&utm_campaign=DMG+-+FA2020+Kid+Activist&_bta_tid=08853814901401957385318476209479790804716509005183848620041002088096989937739960707933171615828183967457618" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> It asks you to sign up here

I’ve just realised that due to this thread I’ve spent £137 on Xmas gifts for myself. This includes the M&S gin bundle, the hotel Chocolat velvetiser & some perfume & shower gel from Penhaligons. I think I need to stop now. Kids are sorted. Just need ideas for DH who helpfully says he doesn’t want anything.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/09/2020 16:59

I've bought the lights too! We're wanting to make the back garden a bit grotto-like, so these will do nicely!

Bluewavescrashing · 29/09/2020 17:04

Beeswax wraps from Amazon. Got my £10 prime day credit, they definitely qualify.

Amazonmulu · 29/09/2020 17:07

Thank you @Onelittlepiglet - DD (4) has asked for more Lottie things and this may be a big saver for us!

DH has now asked for some Doc Marten boots that are £145 Shock Does anyone happen to have a code for a discount on their site or an idea where I might be able to get these for slightly less? We are on a strict budget this year as times are not great :(

Dolphintrainer · 29/09/2020 17:08

@JinglesWish would you mind linking to those gift tags? I’d like to order - I’ve looked on amazon but can’t see those exact ones. Thanks 💐

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 29/09/2020 17:09

@NeedMoreTea they look and feel pretty sturdy to me (just feeling through the plastic bag). I just love all the gold! I want it to be Christmas now!! (tried to photograph them but it's not overly helpful - sorry!)
