Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Play Doh ice cream drizzle set half price in Argos now £8.50.

Twilightstarbright · 29/09/2020 12:04

Buns are £3.08!!

@superstar84
My local Aldi had mini choc santas and coins in yesterday, plus lots of other xmas bits. The mince pies and xmas tree pretsels fell into my trolley, oops!

Kracken · 29/09/2020 12:06

@Emma10702

For those interested in Penhaligons, if you type in Unboxed on the search page of their website it brings up some discounted items. I managed to get a couple. I added the WELCOMEPEN code and also found a code which will hopefully get me a free candle which was PENCANDLEGIFT. I got the Oud de Nil & Bayola for £57 inc delivery. Im blind buying so hopefully will be okay for MIL & step dad.
Thank you so much, I've been wanting to try Penhaligons fragrance for ages but couldn't justify the cost and I got two big bottles of fragrance and the free candle for £62!

Thanks also to the previous poster who flagged the Penhaligons bargains.

Thank you for the jenga link and the prime offer. Really pleased! Hopefully some of my
wish list can be used with the offer 😊

Thanks to this thread I have so many great gifts for others and for me!

My contribution:

Some nice kids and baby books in home bargains, including the lovely Disney advent book calendar for £7.99 (previously mentioned) and christmas tissue paper, crafts etc

Poundland have some lovely Winnie the Pooh books. Soft back and quite a few options for characters and stories. Would make a beautiful baby/child gift as look very good quality

X

DumplingsAndStew · 29/09/2020 12:11

Argh missed the buns.

Did buy OK Play for my prime day credit though.

Rubyroo73 · 29/09/2020 12:11

I want to succumb to the buns but Amazon won't let me! Sad

Goldistheanswer · 29/09/2020 12:22

I can’t get the buns for lower than £10 😡

Onlyahalfbottle · 29/09/2020 12:22

Picked up these three in The Works yesterday in the sale, £5.50 for all three down from £30. There's no way they are worth £30 but DS3 has played with them non stop, the barrier is a bit flimsy but for that price I'm ok with it!
Loads of half price toys in Tesco today including some Paw Patrol stuff and lots of Barbies.

Thank you, I didn't know how to get Amazon Smile to work in the app but I've done it now!

FoxBadger · 29/09/2020 12:30

@Onlyahalfbottle can I ask how the zebra crossing works? I saw them but wasn’t sure if it would need tuck down on the path outside which I wasn’t keen to do. Thanks

wibdib · 29/09/2020 12:33

Not sure how bargainous but I’ve just turned the tv on and spotted that QVC currently have a Christmas Grotto on at the moment - they’ve just done the cellophane wrapping bags (32 for £20), currently £16 for a lit Xmas themed canvas (straight from the 70s!)

On for another half hour...

MrsBhappyface · 29/09/2020 12:34

Where are these buns everyone keeps talking about and what do they look like? X

snowfairylover · 29/09/2020 12:39

@Emma10702 Oh nooo I'm sorry, that is so annoying!

luckiestgirl · 29/09/2020 12:43

@gaggiagirl

I got my weighted blanket here

Just in case home bargains are more expensive.

There’s a choice of 3 sizes/weights and either blush pink or grey. Delivery was only £3

I paid £22 I think including delivery for the middle size/weight

CamdenLurker · 29/09/2020 12:43

Can I ask why everyone is cancelling the Oodies?

princessbear80 · 29/09/2020 12:43

Thanks, I just switched my app to amazon smile too. You just search for Amazon Smile in the app and follow the instructions.

UselessInDisguise · 29/09/2020 12:45

I've also brought the jacques London jenga game for the £10 credit. Does anyone know how you spend it? Does it have to be on something that's reduced over prime days?

PhantomErik · 29/09/2020 12:53

CamdenLurker

I think the fake Oodie's have bad feedback but I'm leaving my order open as it's just for me so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'll report back when it arrives but delivery isn't due until end of October which again is ok with me.

shash1982 · 29/09/2020 13:02

Part of my WH Smith order for art supplies has arrived.
Thank you to the poster who posted the discounts a few threads back, saved me a small fortune!

There was a discount code in my order if its of any use to anyone, dont think it's a one time use, unfortunately its only valid until tomorrow.

WH Smith code. THKSSEPT

Changingagain · 29/09/2020 13:03

UselessInDisguise follow the link from your email and click apply. From what I can gather, you then just have to buy anything on prime day and the £10 will be automatically taken off the price. It does say you have to click apply to add it to your account before prime day starts though, I imagine that'll catch a few people out.

gaggiagirl · 29/09/2020 13:03

Thank youluckiestgirl they look great!

Ah I see, I ordered one for ds -17 as a kind of joke gift, so it won't be too much of a big deal if it's not great, for £10 I'll take risk too Smile
CosmicVagina · 29/09/2020 13:21

My Advent calendars from Arran have arrived, they are fantastic. They look and smell gorgeous, I'm said they aren't for me!
