Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@WaitingForEgg there are some good make up deals on look fantastic or cult beauty that pop up around now. Real chilly’s bottle? Cute real silver earrings? There are some good things on sale at urban outfitters and they all love that shop.

My sil has asked for something from 100 stars, can anyone remember the code I saw a couple of threads back.

shipperssss · 27/09/2020 18:36

Any way to get a discount at Smyths?

Brogues · 27/09/2020 18:42

Thanks for the JL Lego tip-off. DS(7) just mentioned the minecraft and Mario lego after the Smyths catalogue hit the doormat. With the price matching a very good discount!

So tempted by the oodie but I want a pizza one for DD at the price of the fakes ones.

Crackery · 27/09/2020 18:42

@WaitingForEgg

warmies big hit here for teen dd

Or one of those oodies that everyone is buying...

Dolphintrainer · 27/09/2020 18:43

I am a massive supporter of Bruder wheeled toys. Nothing breakers these, and on the one occasion one bit broke it was dead easy to email them for a spare part very reasonably priced. I think we must have built up a 15+ Bruder collection over the last 5 years. All will be packed away for grand children too - in perfect working order.

Jfw82 · 27/09/2020 18:44

Prob worth pointing out that anyone considering but not used the John Lewis lego offer that it is only valid til 30 Sept

Doing some RL shopping this weekend so hope to find more bargains to share!

Dreamingofwalden · 27/09/2020 18:46

@TakeMeToYourLiar I agree with the other posters. Playmobil or Bruner for a four year old. We have the Wow combine Harvester which was loved for a long time but has been deemed too babyish for a four year old and donated to his one year old brothers (until they are playing with it and he decides it’s still his Hmm) to play with. I picked a Playmobil one up on Marketplace and he also received one for his birthday. It’s really robust and a fun toy. He has a Bruder forage harvester which he likes but I think the Playmobil tractor is a better toy.

Thank you to whoever shared about Hamleys. Aforementioned tractor fanatic has become obsessed with dinosaurs, at least he’s branching out, I’ve been looking at Schleich ones and noticed they don’t seem to get reduced. I lost out on a few eBay bundles that with postage ended up pretty expensive. But there’s decent discounts on some of the dinosaurs at Hamleys and free postage. I also bought a few stocking fillers. I think I’m nearly done.

If anyone wants a Lakeland £10 off £60 pm me.

Madvixen · 27/09/2020 18:55

@WaitingForEgg what about some nice skincare stuff? I've got a similar teen to buy for and I've used some Dr Botanicals offers to get her some really lovely little bits that I'm going to pop in a nice wash bag for her

NightOwl19 · 27/09/2020 19:01

Can anyone suggest any ideas for 8 year old going on 18 DD? She's horse mad has regular lessons and will say she wants anything she sees but doesn't play with loads

JinglesWish · 27/09/2020 19:01

Just used the Molton Brown GHK20 code for 2 separate orders. Very pleased with the 4 free shower gel baubles and 2 hand creams. Thanks to whoever posted the code

oatmilkisntsobad · 27/09/2020 19:13

Those penguin candles sound lovely. Is there a link?
And if anyone can help with suggestions for kids in late teens early 20's, I'd be eternally grateful!

Have you seen the Frugi Shetland pony snuggle fleece? www.babipur.co.uk/frugi-shetland-ponies-snuggle-fleece.html
Itwasntme101 · 27/09/2020 19:20

@Dreamingofwalden, kids stuff for less has a tub of dinosaurs for just under £5 and a few other dinosaur bits for a couple of £s www.kidsstuffforless.uk/?product_cat=&s=Dinosaurs&post_type=product

littlestpogo · 27/09/2020 19:33

Another one with 2 boys who would rate Bruder - indestructible and still played sometimes at 8!

I think they are more realistic than playmobil and didn’t have bits that come off so my two preferred them as they got older ( even I’m quite fond of the Bruder!).

XiCi · 27/09/2020 19:34

Thanks for posting about the candles. Teachers presents sorted now.

What about a nice pair of riding gloves. Most wear basic pimple palm ones but you can get ‘soft shell’ ones in all sorts of colours which are much nicer to ride in.
Rubyroo73 · 27/09/2020 19:38

@Puffalicious I teamed up with some school mums to buy 4 together and did just that!

CosmicVagina · 27/09/2020 19:40

@NightOwl19 what about some Saddle Club books

luckiestgirl · 27/09/2020 19:41

@Sunshineskies yes please to the link to the weighted blanket thread!

Thanks to the Brand Alley posters but I don’t think I’ll spend £80 in there

yoikes · 27/09/2020 19:43

Thanks for the hobbycraft reminder...I always forget that shop! I hot some nice decorations.
Thanks for wax lyrical candle link too...

Lockdownhairdontcare · 27/09/2020 19:44

luckiestgirl · 27/09/2020 19:44

Ewock · 27/09/2020 19:48
