Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@superstar84 thank you, that must be what I am doing wrong I have them in my basket and they are another seller but fulfilled by amazon, so I need to check for ones that are sold by amazon is that what you mean ?

Ewock · 27/09/2020 11:26
@whatwillicallmyself do you mean this one?

I got one for DS last year. Apologies for long link!
I got this for my son last year and it stopped working boxing day. I then had a two week battle with Studio for a refund, as they were sold out, they wanted me to pay P&P to send it back. Shocking service and I will never use them again. My ds was so upset it had broken and the only thing he'd asked for was a games console like that, that I went to CEX and got a nintendo ds for him. Got it for £40 with 4 games so not too bad. But really put me off Studio, I wasn't annoyed it stopped working these things happen it was their customer service which was awful

superstar84 · 27/09/2020 11:26

Yes, take those ones out at they'll never go down in price

Keep clicking the item and every now and then it comes up at £3.09 sold by amazon

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 27/09/2020 11:35

@TakeMeToYourLiar DS is digger/tractor obsessed and we have a ridiculous amount. His favourites are bruder and Playmobil. I’d say the Playmobil is probably the best. We got a bulk lot second hand 4yrs ago and they are good as new

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 27/09/2020 11:36

Sorry just to add I think by that age he’d have found the wow stuff too babyish and the wooden stuff never seemed as realistic or had the features he liked

WisestIsShe · 27/09/2020 11:40

@JinglesWish it's smells good. Sort of manly, spicy, wintery. Terrible description but it's not sweet, Christmas type apple/cinnamon etc. It smells posher Xmas Grin

whatwillicallmyself · 27/09/2020 11:41

@liquiddiamonds yes that is the exact one, now I know why I didnt get it last year I can't set up an account with studio cos I am in Ireland 😕 thanks though they have it on amazon but its 29.98 I will keep an eye out though, can I ask do you think it would suit an 11 year old ?

Sunshineskies · 27/09/2020 11:48

@WickedEmoji try redbubble for gaming/roblox stuff. iirc there's a discount for signing up. If there isn't, make an account, fill your basket and leave and they usually send you a discount code by email to tempt you.
Thanks for the thread reastie.
And thank you for the candles! Ordered three, they look lovely and such a good price.
I remember on one of the first threads I had wax lyrical candles from tesco at a bargain price. They were in a tin and had a snowman on, think they were £1 each. Anyone else remember?

Spam88 · 27/09/2020 11:48

@everythingisginandroses it definitely said aching! Didn't it?? 😂

Lockdownhairdontcare · 27/09/2020 11:49

@BernardBlackMissesLangCleg where have you sent me?! I have entered a world of beautiful ribbon and now find myself adding so much to my basket Xmas Blush

whatwillicallmyself · 27/09/2020 11:54

@Ewock oh thanks for that I hadn't read further, that must have really disappointing for him. Amazon are pretty good though for returns so I might keep my eye out and see if the price drops there, so if there are any problems I can return it to them. Good to know that about studio because I was going to see if there was anyway around signing up by giving my dpd parcel wizard address.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/09/2020 11:58
@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts No, it needs to be a physical store.

I tried to price match something from a proper shop this week and it went out of stock just before they picked up my email. So JL refused to price match, as I couldn’t buy it at the other shop at the lower price.
Ended up cancelling the JL order to buy one item on Amazon, then couldn't use the 20% off Lego code again so had to use DH's account - such a bloody faff but saving that extra £4 makes it all worth it 🤦‍♀️😂 (I am such an idiot!)

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/09/2020 12:01

@AllNewThings I use this one (previously recommended on here years ago). The Lite version is free but I ended up buying the premium version to keep my lists.

Thank you Coconuts.

myhobbyisouting · 27/09/2020 12:03

It said aching 🤔

NewBabyJoy · 27/09/2020 12:05

@TakeMeToYourLiar I'm going to re-recommend Green toys. Made from recycled plastic, very robust. Available on amazon, but often have them reduced in tk maxx.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/09/2020 12:19

@myhobbyisouting

It said aching 🤔
I checked my inbox - definitely said 'aching'! 🤣

If anyone needs new glasses for their Christmas table, there's a cracking bargain in the M&S sale.
here

Puffalicious · 27/09/2020 12:30

Jingles I get the brown paper in 4m lengths at the post office for £1- really decent quality- and usually pick up ribbon at local craft stalls/ sales but Bernard has sent me on a journey of wonder! Thanks Bernard.

Puffalicious · 27/09/2020 12:31

torthecatlady I quite fancy being Oprah! Definitely wouldn't mind her money!Grin

Puffalicious · 27/09/2020 12:32

Thanks for the adidas code folks, now off to add stuff for DS2s birthday in November.

luckiestgirl · 27/09/2020 12:35

I’m on the lookout for a weighted blanket again too if anyone sees one.

Also, I can’t get the Brand Alley code to work (JOINTHEFUN20) so I’ve given up.

I’m tempted by the John Lewis Lego but im going to wait till Black Friday for Amazon reductions. I’m after Mario Lego and lots of it!

Madvixen · 27/09/2020 12:50

@luckiestgirl I have a BrandAlley refer a friend code for £20 off an £80 spend if you would like it?

Riddikulusness · 27/09/2020 12:50

Just to let the lucky few feel nice and smug...
the M&S gin, prosecco, and nuts hamper is now back for £40! £18 was most definitely a glitch you lucky things
