Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Slip I'll try your fake oodie. We've an outdoor seating area so great to wear when out there.

Chocolatepumpkin · 25/09/2020 14:48

Thank you gaggiagirl and SlipASomethingUnderThe will have a proper look after school run although the pizza certainly looks interesting 😊

Dreamingofwalden · 25/09/2020 14:56

@mummymilkfloat we have the Whizz World one from ELC. It was gifted to my DS for his first birthday. He still plays with it as do my one year old twins. It’s massive and plastic - I prefer wooden - they bloody love the flashing lights and siren. Currently 33% off.

big plastic noisy fire engine

NerosFiddle · 25/09/2020 14:58

I need those bloody buns!

Scanner20 · 25/09/2020 14:58

I'm looking forward to an advent book this year, my 5 year old will love it I'm sure. I will be ordering the winston one and so a chapter a night. This thread is so good for bargains and ideas but I've got quite a large stash going on so I think I'm well and truly done!! 😳 it's been so good and I hope I can just add bargains now and stop buying them 🤣 the symths book arrived and I'm hoping they add the bargains bought to their lists!

DumplingsAndStew · 25/09/2020 15:00

@Thegirlhasnoname

DumplingsandStew paperback will probably be released next summer/autumn
Thanks, I think I'll just go for this then. Was hoping for a paperback version to match the other JK books she has, but am sure she won't mind.
Dreamingofwalden · 25/09/2020 15:01

@mummymilkfloat my one year olds have just whizzed past with Marshall’s fire engine. They love that one too. yet more ugly, plastic toys

Dreamingofwalden · 25/09/2020 15:14

Dare I mention Uno?

Photobox sent me an email today with a 50% off code (I think it is linked to my account or I would share). I have ordered a personalised UNO with pics of the grandchildren for my parents. It’s is normally £19.99 I have also ordered two Ravensburger personalised puzzles. One for each set of grandparents. It’s £29 for a 1000 piece puzzle. Postage is £9.98. So, it’s £49.97 for the two personalised 1000 piece jigsaws and personalised UNO. Not cheap but I find Photobox to be pretty reliable in terms of service and quality. If you don’t have a 50% off email it’s 40% off on the website. Smile

Twistcurl · 25/09/2020 15:21

Got some Baker Ross discount codes in an order I received today- don’t seem to be account specific.

@mummymilkfloat we had the Tidlo fire engine when my little boy was 2..four years on and it’s still played with regularly. It has lasted well. I can’t remember where we bought it, perhaps Very.
It’s big and wooden and very solid (and bloody hurts if you drop it on your foot)
Some reductions on HP Lego on Amazon at the mo for anyone that’s looking. Astronomy tower £67 - still a lot but quite a reduction

CovidChristmas · 25/09/2020 15:42

Boots big boss was on lunchtime news saying they are planning to run a whole month of November Black Friday sales event. Also saying searches on their website for Christmas deals are up on previous years and he thinks consumers are right to plan ahead to prevent problems with deliveries in December.
Feels like the world is catching up with all of us on this thread. Thanks to you guys I have all my kids presents (even sweets with decent dates) and I am planning to open my M&S gin tonight and have a small tipple. Just have to decide which flavour to sample first!

UselessInDisguise · 25/09/2020 15:54

Did anyone pick up the m&s hamper deal in store yesterday?

Equimum · 25/09/2020 15:55

I’ve just ordered my first a Christmas bargain and it made me think of my thread, so I’m pulling up a seat and taking my place.

I have just bought the Lego Minecraft Crafting box 3.0 for £56.50. I got it on Amazon, but Argos have it at the same price.

DS has vaguely asked for Minecraft Lego, so I’m going to stash this, and if he is more specific later in, I’ll ‘sell’ this to my mum to give him.

myhobbyisouting · 25/09/2020 15:57

So weird. I came here to say about that Lego

mummymilkfloat · 25/09/2020 15:57

@pasinphoebe and @Dreamingofwalden thank you!! The wooden ones do look great but I know what you mean, I’m sure he’d love a flashing noisy one....maybe I’ll get one of those for grandmas house.

clouise89 · 25/09/2020 16:15

@4Minions2CallMyOwn would love the £5 voucher if you are able to pm. Thank you so much :) x

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 25/09/2020 16:19

Have PM’d you (I think Grin)

Clevererthanyou · 25/09/2020 16:29

Please forgive me if it has already been posted but I have a blinding headache and cant read screens atm but I saw this guy in Morrisons and he's big and beautifully soft. I know that big soft toys have gone down well in the past (Like my 6ft giraffe, Mrs Melman).

My local Sainsburys had some great bargains on Crayola activity books, twistable crayons and mess free colouring sets.

Restlessinthenorth · 25/09/2020 16:57

My bun box has arrived! It's really substantial, I'm really pleased with it! Thanks to whoever got us started on this!

Amazonmulu · 25/09/2020 16:59

I need those buns - aaarrrggghhh lol

Maddie2802 · 25/09/2020 17:05

Thinking of order the MIL and FIL the wine glasses on m&s but wanted to know others opinions, are they nice? Or old fashioned looking?
I was going to buy some wine and snacks to go with them too

Maddie2802 · 25/09/2020 17:07
