Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

I hope the gin doesn’t become the hampers of this year! (Hopefully my rhubarb will make its way here in early November as planned GrinGin)

Cakestandkitchen · 24/09/2020 13:41

Got the gin!

TheDrsDocMartens · 24/09/2020 13:43

I Caved on the gin. That’s me & my mum sorted.

Restlessinthenorth · 24/09/2020 13:43

Well it says the right to "offer".....doesn't mean we would have to accept! Let's hope they have plenty because we've got an amazing bargain there!

unkindnessofravens · 24/09/2020 13:45

Ordered the gin, no idea who for Hmm

Sunshineskies · 24/09/2020 13:47

My dd has mentioned LED Strip lights for her room and I just saw @Wtfdidwedo mention having seen them on a previous thread. I’ve been looking out for mention of a bargain but must’ve missed them being mentioned. Does anyone have any info on them? Can you remember where they were from wtf?

MissRabbitIsExhausted · 24/09/2020 13:47

Bought the gin, no idea who for but great tip, thanks Grin

shash1982 · 24/09/2020 13:47

For anyone looking for Harry Potter dolls, bargain max had them for £13.99.
Cheaper than the £17.99 everywhere else seems to want.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2020 13:49

Oops. I bought gin (Clementine), and also noticed the dodgy product description. I'll tweet them. I'm sure it's an error.

My friend drinks gin, so I'll give her that for Christmas and keep the other bits for me!

shash1982 · 24/09/2020 13:49

And speaking of gin.... I'm hoping for a bottle of Hendricks in my stocking this year!😂

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/09/2020 13:50

Looking for a bargain rug if anyone happens upon one. Small and girly is the order of the day but I can’t find a good bargain!

The ones mentioned previously were on Amazon, think they're normally between £15 and £25 depending on length, but quite often drop to £10 on lightning deals.
Acunningruse · 24/09/2020 13:57

15% off cult beauty if anyone would like plus free delivery over £20

Thread 7 - the one with matching bowels and plates
MsMiaWallace · 24/09/2020 14:04

Hotel Chocolat have free delivery when you spend over £30.

Guys is Hotel Chocolat worth it?

runningpink · 24/09/2020 14:04

Can anyone recommend acrylic paint? Is the stuff in Hobbycraft any good?

It’s for painting mdf shapes for Christmas gifts for family. I may be absolutely rubbish at it but it will give me something to do whilst can’t really socialise much with the restrictions.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 24/09/2020 14:09

@MsMiaWallace
Hotel Chocolat is fab, I get it as a treat at birthdays etc

RJnomore1 · 24/09/2020 14:12

The gin online may be the right price - is the Percy pig toy not £25 and the jar £15 but the set is £30?

Don’t quote me though!

PattyPan · 24/09/2020 14:23

Just bought the gin in both flavours, one for DP’s mum and one for me Grin If it does come with Prosecco too that’s a really substantial present!

UselessInDisguise · 24/09/2020 14:24

Bugger I brought my gin on n Tuesday and no reciept Sad

HoneyPea · 24/09/2020 14:25

Thanks @KillZill I think I will look into finding one and give it a try 😊

Fuckingfuckssake · 24/09/2020 14:25

Have you tried Rex London? They're usually a good shout for that kind of thing.

IHeartKingThistle · 24/09/2020 14:26

Or urban outfitters have some little ones?

hiredandsqueak · 24/09/2020 14:29

Thanks bought the gin for dsis usually buy flowers sure she will be pleased though.

PowerslidePanda · 24/09/2020 14:31

@runningpink - I really don't like Hobbycraft's acrylic paint - I find it very runny. But the Crawford and Black range at The Works is decent (for craft projects, at least - I'm no artist!) and I think cheaper too?

Lellyo · 24/09/2020 14:42

Thank you for the heads up on the gin.....fingers crossed it comes👍. Strange it doesn't show how big the clementine one is?

Also just a bit of heads up. Was in our local butchers yesterday asking about ordering a turkey crown and they said they weren’t taking orders, because if the farmers etc had to shut down due to Covid ( someone there contracting it), we’d be left without. So that was a long winded way of saying buy your turkey etc when you can
