Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I got our switch last year as a free gift with a mobile phone contract a PS4 the year before when my dh upgraded. If you're due an upgrade anyway and you're not too bothered about having the newest phone it's worth doing.

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 23/09/2020 21:53

@MsMiaWallace

Does anyone know of where I can get a decent cheap hamper from? Anyone tried Aldi hampers?
My parents get me one every year and I've always been impressed.
recklessgran · 23/09/2020 22:00

@Fuckingfuckssake I've pm'd you a 15% off code for UO.

MissRabbitIsExhausted · 23/09/2020 22:09

@bakingcupcakes

I use the Yorkshire Soap Company for shampoo and conditioner bars. They're really good. Not really a bargain unless you live near a shop though. Think they're about £5 each.
I've used the Yorkshire soap company for a few gifts before, always been very happy with anything I've bought from there.
lotusbell · 23/09/2020 22:20

My Uno Flip arrived too; same as other posters, badly squished box, thin tatty cards. Hurrah! Hmm

dementedma · 23/09/2020 22:20

I bought a Thistle and Black Pepper Shampoo bar in a very smart tin from Scottish Fine Soaps for ds stocking. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and thr packaging really nice.

Rosie2000 · 23/09/2020 22:45

Thank you for the LEGO friends find.
Any ideas where the best place to buy a Rubik’s 4x4 and pyramid are?

Lockdownhairdontcare · 23/09/2020 22:48

Thank you for the onesie suggestions, got the men’s medium from the NH website.

DumplingsAndStew · 23/09/2020 23:04

@torthecatlady

I'm looking for one of those pore sucker things, if anyone has any recommendations or sees a bargain? Not very Christmassy Grin
@torthecatlady

A friend and I bought this one a few weeks back and are both impressed with it.

The Friendly Soap company has an excellent solid conditioner bar
Their shampoo bare are cheap, but not suitable for use in hard water areas.

Gruum shampoo bars are the best I've tried, and often have a offer to try a bar for the cost of P&P, or a no waste gift set of several bars for about £11.

Holland and Barrett have some no waste gift sets in their toiletries section, which include a body butter too (little heart shapes, can't remember the name!)

@mummyof2boys30 the thermos food flask is good and robust. We have 2 as the first was so good. They survive preteens at the stables

coffeetofunction · 24/09/2020 07:20

I got a waterproof raincoat, shorts and s tee for under £45 delivered

captainjacksparrow · 24/09/2020 07:23

@Rosie2000

Try Kewbz uk, dd who is a cuber gets all her stuff from there. They often have sales on and also do second hand cubes. She’s bought a few of these and they are always in excellent condition.

Elpheba · 24/09/2020 07:57

Does anyone have any recommendations for baking subscriptions for children? My DM wants to get one for my toddler DS- I’ll help so doesn’t matter if it’s not aimed at that particular age.

ShoppingBasket · 24/09/2020 08:22

Harry potter lego on amazon has dropped a bit including privet drive.

Onelittlepiglet · 24/09/2020 08:40

I’ve used three Ethique solid shampoo bars and other products from Holland and Barrett - they are really nice. H&B also have 20% off every at the moment too!

Luxplus · 24/09/2020 09:00

Dd wants the luvabella mealtime baby, anywhere I can find it at a more reasonable price?

HoneyPea · 24/09/2020 09:22

Has anyone used a felt Christmas tree?
My DS will be around 18months by Christmas and was just wondering if it would be any good for him to have as his own tree to play with (hopefully rather than the real one 🤞🏻)

CandyCaneLane0 · 24/09/2020 09:26
