Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Does anyone know where I might pre order a PS5? Despite DH insisting he didn’t want one when they were on Argos, he has now told me he in fact would like one. Grrr!

CupoTeap · 20/09/2020 09:49

Elemis have a 3 for 2 offer

@Givealittlebit if you sign up to their mailing list it gives 10% off (or at least it did the other week when lots of us bought them). The code it sent me didn't work so I emailed them & they refunded the 10% back to the card I paid with :)

Scanner20 · 20/09/2020 09:57

Do you always have to chase the entertainer for the jacks birthday code?

recklessgran · 20/09/2020 10:00

Between 20 and 30% off all Rituals toiletries at Feel Unique. If you sign up you can nominate 2 brands for an extra 10% off. Don't forget TCB who currently have 13% off for new customers or 6% off for existing.
They also run a referral scheme which gives a further 20% off .[ see referral thread for that]

@KavvLar

Still catching up so apologies if this has already been posted but this looks like a good little set - 12 air dry clay tubs and accessories and activity book for £2.99

Thanks just ordered 2 for stockings! Great price
coffeetofunction · 20/09/2020 10:19

Unsure if this has been mentioned but I just found an offer in my junk from photobox

24 page photo book for £5 plus PP

It's use once code but a great present for £5

DinosaurOfFire · 20/09/2020 10:29

@Allhallowseve we had the older version of the house, my eldest had it when she was 2.5 and it's still played with by her now, age 8, and her siblings (5, 3.5). I think it's better than 'normal' playmobil at that age, but its not as basic as some of the other sets.

PinkJam · 20/09/2020 10:35

@Scanner20 I was just wondering the same yesterday. I don’t think I’ve been sent a code at all this year for any birthdays.

Bluebell9 · 20/09/2020 11:04

@Scrambledbeans Sony have said they will be making more available for preorder soon and that more will be available by the end of the year, hopefully in time for Xmas.

MrsBhappyface · 20/09/2020 11:09

Hiya. Thank you for all the fabulous ideas for Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knows whether Smyth's will be doing their £10 off £50 and £20 off £100 sale this coming week? X

Allhallowseve · 20/09/2020 11:12

Thanks all ordered the playmobil house :-)

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 20/09/2020 11:25

Thanks @thelegohooverer and @Wtfdidwedo re: the Amazon search tips - some random stuff came up, but not enough to make use of that offer - oh well!

DaisyChops · 20/09/2020 11:32

I get codes from the entertainer randomly when it's not my kids birthday but they say it is!
Also, anyone having any trouble with the very codes, i think I've got about 8 switches arriving full price next week 🙈

FrolickingLemon · 20/09/2020 11:33

@MrsBhappyface No Smyths have been told they can't do anything like that this year which will attract crowds. I spoke to the manager of my local store on Friday - she is the Mum of one of DDs friends at school.

Scanner20 · 20/09/2020 11:35

I chased it last month, looks like I will have to do the same tomorrow @pinkjam

Allhallowseve · 20/09/2020 11:39

Ahhh the Spode stuff on brandalley is so tempting I just can't justify buying it !

Sunshineskies · 20/09/2020 11:40

ASOS have some good savings on their outlet. Extra 25% off using code CREPCHECK

PattyPan · 20/09/2020 11:59

I sent DP into M&S in Reading at 8am yesterday on the hunt for gin and he said they didn’t have any Shock

MrsBhappyface · 20/09/2020 12:00

@FrolickingLemon thank you for the reply. I have a transformers obsessed son an was hoping to get more for my money. Full price it is 😧. Xx

TheGirlWhoLived · 20/09/2020 12:04

Thanks for the air dry clay- I too have bought some for stockings, great price and crafty kit

WatchoutfortheROUS · 20/09/2020 12:05

Just picked up some gins, I did have to ask as they hadn't put out the stock that came in overnight yet. They are beautiful. I'd have missed out if it wasn't for this thread so thank you Flowers Most are for presents but I'll be keeping one for me Smile

gingerbeerandlemonade · 20/09/2020 12:10

@PattyPan try Lower Earley (next to Asda).

TakeMeToYourLiar · 20/09/2020 12:15

@Algebraicyourleg

Thank you for all the bargains you have all posted, I am now more or less sorted for Christmas and upcoming, before Christmas, birthdays. I am a fairly new member to mumsnet and this thread has certainly helped me get sorted cheaper while I am on maternity leave. You are all brilliant. I am sorted apart from two people. I was wondering if you had any suggestions? Firstly my mum who doesn’t really have hobbies, doesn’t like smellies and only wears family jewellery. She is a bit of a numbers geek and I have bought her puzzle books for her birthday - mid December. Secondly an uncle who is retired, enjoys watching football and is notoriously hard to buy for, usually I end up just getting him beer or spirit of choice! Would like to break that tradition. Thank you!
The Alex Bellos books? Particularly Alex in numberland
