Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I can second werchristmas too! Our tree is from there, and it's lovely. I've just pre-ordered some outdoor lights too.

The added bonus for me is that they're in my town, so it's shopping local!

Still catching up so apologies if this has already been posted but this looks like a good little set - 12 air dry clay tubs and accessories and activity book for £2.99

Does anyone know how to find eligible toys under this 10% off Amazon deal? I stumbled across it when looking at this cute headband craft set, but finding other eligible items is driving me MAD!! 🤪 So far I've found two other toys, but not ones I want to buy!

Try googling this string
Amazon “buy 4, save 10” toys

Note the quotation marks and the comma. Should give you some options.

There’s probably an easier way but Amazon is an absolute headache to navigate.

Dithering over the playmobil 123 family home. I'm thinking of getting it for nearly 4 year old . Does anyone have it? Is it too young for him?

My dd had the playmobil take along house at that age. She has just sold it at the age of 12 after lots of years of play. Maybe you could consider that and remove any parts you feel are too small at first?
Allhallowseve · 20/09/2020 06:58

@2anddone thanks I think the takealong house is different this is the 123home I think it's aimed at younger children. However I think my nearly four and six year old will like the sound affects . Debating whether to get this one or the take along one? Your dd obviously loved it .

Flackattack · 20/09/2020 07:50

Ordered lots of stocking fillers/ dreaded Christmas Eve box (I’ve started now so can’t stop!) from toys for £1 which my children will actually enjoy rather than just filler! These were stressing me out as they are the trickiest things to get - particularly if we lockdown.
Got the fins from M&S - one is a gift but I know they’ll share!
Also got my second Christmas Eve box from laser boutique which was on offer.
I’ve had lots of presents from them over the years and I got a discount EMAIL15 (save15%) Worth a look for something different Smile

Try this Google search: "buy 4, save 10" toys amazon -funky Just searching for the offer includes offers from Funky Gifts too rather than just toys so if you exclude the word funky you should just hone in on toys.
Notasyoungasiwas · 20/09/2020 08:14

Paco Rabanne are offering 25% off with code BACKTOSCHOOL

Givealittlebit · 20/09/2020 08:16

Does anyone know if there's any codes floating around for Dunedin at all? Have finally decided to get a scarf for husbands gran but any extra saving on maternity leave would be brilliant!

recklessgran · 20/09/2020 08:32

There are some lovely [and a couple of slightly different] Christmas bedding sets on Brand Alley at suitably bargainous prices. Also lots of reduced Spode Christmas tree design bits for those of you adding to your collections this year.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 20/09/2020 08:45

@allhallowseve if it helps my dd1 played with happyland buildings/cars up until she was around 10 and dd2 8 still has a few houses and paw patrol vehicles. They use different figures (busy book, funko minis, disney figures, lol dolls) but the houses are a good size! Happyland is aimed at preschoolers, mine got the moneys worth, buy whatever you think your dc will get use of regardless of the age on the box. Mine never really got on with regular playmobil except the swimming pool!

Foggyday124 · 20/09/2020 08:50

Pukka herbal tea advent calendar. Have been checking the price for a while and never seen it this low. Plus with subscribe and save (that can be cancelled straight after) there’s another 10% off.

CometCupidDonnerBlitzen · 20/09/2020 08:57

Does the yoto player ever get reduced in price? I think it would be a nice surprise for my youngest but it's quite pricey for what it is.

Givealittlebit · 20/09/2020 09:04

@CometCupidDonnerBlitzen there's some referral codes for £10 off on the referral thread I think, but I don't think it gets reduced at all

Algebraicyourleg · 20/09/2020 09:04

Thank you for all the bargains you have all posted, I am now more or less sorted for Christmas and upcoming, before Christmas, birthdays. I am a fairly new member to mumsnet and this thread has certainly helped me get sorted cheaper while I am on maternity leave. You are all brilliant.
I am sorted apart from two people. I was wondering if you had any suggestions? Firstly my mum who doesn’t really have hobbies, doesn’t like smellies and only wears family jewellery. She is a bit of a numbers geek and I have bought her puzzle books for her birthday - mid December.
Secondly an uncle who is retired, enjoys watching football and is notoriously hard to buy for, usually I end up just getting him beer or spirit of choice! Would like to break that tradition.
Thank you!

Givealittlebit · 20/09/2020 09:05

@Algebraicyourleg what about foodie hampers for them both? A selection of really nice little food and drink bits that they wouldn't normally treat themselves too?

Bsgetty · 20/09/2020 09:07

Playmobil is on sale on Brand Alley today - lots of stuff on 25-50% off.

CometCupidDonnerBlitzen · 20/09/2020 09:08

@Givealittlebit Thank you, £10 is better than nothing. I'll take a look.

Twilightstarbright · 20/09/2020 09:16

@Allhallowseve I'm debating it for 3.5yo DS. He's young for his age and I think not ready for normal Playmobil yet.

Tamtam86 · 20/09/2020 09:28

m & co have a 24% off sale for 24 hours

I've spotted a few friends tops/PJ's I think might be good for my teenage nieces

withadivinebeatlesbaseline · 20/09/2020 09:30

I’ve been lurking for a while and bought lots of lovely books from WHSmith in the sale with 10% off Smile
My friend has given me these for my birthday, they smell amazing and are plastic free kinkind.co.uk/
There’s 10% off orders with first orders

Thank you for this, I've ordered one as an extra present for my dsis. This thread has helped me save so much money on upcoming birthdays and Christmas that I can afford to get extra treats.
