Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I've never seen the crayola paints that cheap I paid 50p as I'd accumulated some credits from amazon

HoldingForGeneralHugs · 15/09/2020 08:04

@peasando im with you! I missed them again cause i went to bed! My ds woke me up at 3am and i had look just incase. I think i have a problem.

I did find on my 3am lookout that certain books are 2 for £7 on amazon. It was hard to find the ones in the deal but looks like its the 10 Little books by Mike Branlow and Julia Donaldson books. There might be others but i gave up as i was falling asleep

@margaritasbythesea

Can anyone recommend some fun looking but good alarm clocks? I want a couple as stocking fillers for dcs 12 and 10. Flowers
Do they like Lego? I've seen a couple of Lego alarm clocks, like a Darth Vader one.
thelegohooverer · 15/09/2020 08:25

@margaritasbythesea I love my projection alarm clock and have given some as very well received gifts, although they weren’t particularly fun looking.
I can’t specifically recommend this one but it’s fun looking Smile

Tamtam86 · 15/09/2020 08:44

I have just seen boots have a £10 Tuesday offer today, it doesn't look like there's a huge amount included but a couple of olay creams with good reductions and a few gift set type things

WisestIsShe · 15/09/2020 08:55

@HoldingForGeneralHugs I've found the easiest way to get all the books in that offer is to Google Amazon 2 for £7 books.

HoldingForGeneralHugs · 15/09/2020 09:20

@WisestIsShe thank you for the tip! I just tried it and it was alot easier!

VividImagination · 15/09/2020 09:27

I didn’t think I needed the puppets but dh’s ggs is 2 in December so now I think I need them. Is 2 too young?

whoknows1230 · 15/09/2020 09:42
@whoknows1230 shut the box (wooden)! Is £1 in tiger right now Smile
Thank you. Tiger is quite a long way but I'll see if I can find a number for them and if they'll put one by for me to collect rather than have a wasted trip

EvilHerbivore · 15/09/2020 09:43

Wondering if anyone had any recommendations - I always put a book in the Christmas Eve box to read altogether just before bed but DSs are 7 and 10 this year so struggling to find something lovely and Christmassy but not babyish?
Ideally a book I could read to them in one sitting

@EvilHerbivore have you got the child version of A Christmas Carol? Or the Nutcracker, Polar Express or the Night Before Christmas?
Wait4nothing · 15/09/2020 09:52

@EvilHerbivore have you done the grinch?

EvilHerbivore · 15/09/2020 09:54

We've done the grinch, night before Christmas and polar express but not thought of nutcracker or Christmas carol - will look at those now. Thanks 😊

peasando · 15/09/2020 09:56

@VividImagination I haven't decided yet if the damn puppets are for DS (3) or DD (who will be 1) but am leaning towards DD. Under supervision. Obviously this is entirely academic because I am NEVER GOING TO GET THEM

Notlongnow1 · 15/09/2020 10:00

@peasando you and me both! 😭

peasando · 15/09/2020 10:03

@Notlongnow1 we need some sort of support group

Sunshineskies · 15/09/2020 10:08

@EvilHerbivore my dc love Christmas on Exeter Street. Bought when they were little but still love age 10. I enjoy it too haha. It’s very lovely and makes me feel all Christmassy.

Notlongnow1 · 15/09/2020 10:25

@peasando definitely!

In other news, there are a couple of Lottie dolls coming up on amazon lightning deals today.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 15/09/2020 10:26

EBay discount on select sellers - PERKS15 Ends 18 Sept, so not long!

TheGriffle · 15/09/2020 10:29

This seems like a good deal, thousands of good reviews £29.99 and then a 15% off voucher off that as well. I’m getting it for my dads 60th so he can stop nicking ours.

IggyAce · 15/09/2020 10:38

I don’t even need the damn puppets but I keep checking them, I definitely need help.

mumontherun14 · 15/09/2020 10:44

Has anyone's Regatta Ebay orders arrived yet and if so are they ok? Am looking for waterproof jackets but need them for end of next week and it looks as if their delivery times are quite long x

DaisyChops · 15/09/2020 10:59

Lots of bad reviews posted about that sylvanian house on Asda's website, looks like they are offering people £3 to keep the red house!

BicycleMadeForTwo · 15/09/2020 10:59

@mumontherun14 My regatta coat arrived pretty quickly and it’s great.
