Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Thanks @yoikes for the Typo spot. Plenty of 50p cards and a £1 Harry Potter A4 notebook, plus I did the £2 click and collect option.

Bluebell9 · 14/09/2020 09:27

There is 10% off sale items at ELC using code extra10.

Queenelsarules · 14/09/2020 09:30

My bargain to offer: if any of you have a Waitrose nearby they are having a clearance and at mine there are various soft toys and games marked down a lot. I got these two ty flippables for £2:50 each, perfect for kids stocking.

Wentworth jigsaw puzzles are not remotely bargainous but beautiful and well made. They occasionally offer a discount if you sign up for their emails and have a some clearance discounts from time to time (not at the moment sadly)

thelegohooverer · 14/09/2020 10:01

Spotted these silicone straws in the typo sale for £2. I’d be nervous giving children rigid steel reusable straws and these are a good alternative. P&P is steep unless you’re spending more than £30 but there are lots of other bits in the sale.

UselessInDisguise · 14/09/2020 10:10

Champneys heavenly indulgent bubble bath in the clearance at boots from £12 to £6
Brought for me.....

I've just seen this on facebook - it's a list of Amazon's movers and shakers over the last hour. The idea is when a bargain in on, more people will buy it and the item will move onto this list. i've saved it for future reference.

Paperchase has £5 off £30 spend with code AFGN305

Maddie2802 · 14/09/2020 11:02

Has anyone seen any offers/deals for the mario kart Lego kits? 😊

BighouseLittlemouse · 14/09/2020 11:13

Hello everyone

I have a £5 off £25 Lakeland voucher. If anyone wants please PM me.

Also can anyone recall if the smiggle advent calendars tend to go on offer? Both DCs want one and I have a vague recollection they did go on offer last year ( although obviously don’t want to miss out!)

TryingtobePrepared · 14/09/2020 11:14

Just seen in body shop Green advent calender down to £35. I know they often sell out and have never seen them reduced before

tinyradish · 14/09/2020 11:21

Was there someone looking for kids Marvel bits? Try B&M. I saw they had marvel superhero lava lamps for £1, face clothes, the superhero figures & loads of other stocking filler bits. :)

tinyradish · 14/09/2020 11:22

*face cloths

Fuckingfuckssake · 14/09/2020 11:24

20% cashback at Wilkos via TCB, only till 3pm though.

Sunshineskies · 14/09/2020 11:34

Hobbycraft have a good sale on their art stuff. My arty teen dd makes her way through so many sketch books, watercolour pens etc and she likes the good quality ones so it can be expensive! But managed to get quite a few things half price.

whatwillicallmyself · 14/09/2020 11:40

Hi I see people are recommending jigsaws can any of you recommend a jigsaw mat or jigsaw table that they have that actually works well, there are so may to choose from on amazon and they get mixed reviews, I would like something that can be put away or under the sofa when not in use, thanks.

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 14/09/2020 12:12

Sshhsleeping re little figures for lunchbox. Try a Christmas busy book, TKMAXX had them today for £5.99. Only had a quick look inside but there was definitely a Father Christmas, Mother Christmas, Snowman and a couple of different elves and some others. The book has a game mat too.

thelegohooverer · 14/09/2020 12:15

@BighouseLittlemouse Smiggle calendars dropped significantly in price last year. I can’t remember how much exactly, but I think it’s definitely worth waiting a bit.

thelegohooverer · 14/09/2020 12:19

If anyone sees cheap bargainous Harry Potter Christmas paper anywhere can you give me a shout.

BighouseLittlemouse · 14/09/2020 12:24

Thanks @thelegohooverer - that’s what i thought!

mumontherun14 · 14/09/2020 12:28

wherethewavesarehighest · 14/09/2020 12:29

whatwillicallmyself I have this one and it's really good, better than the role mat I had before. I keep it under our divan bed and today I managed to drop one side while it was closed and the jigsaw was still in place when I opened it up.
Jigsaw Mat

It's a bit pricey but I couldn't find anything else at the time.
