Here we go!

I've got a busy day tomorrow, so I'm starting this now, ready for when it's needed.

They look very pretty MM l think they look so happy and sunny they are a real tonic.

MarshmallowManiac · 17/09/2020 20:41

Yes Firefly I feel normal is what we need at the moment. Sorry to hear about your poor fitbit, remember doing a similar thing with my phone one day when I had it on my lap as I got out of the car, and it smashed into smithereens on the ground. May your fitbit rest in peace a minutes silence for Firefly's fitbit Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 17/09/2020 20:43

Mrs I love going into the garden just to see my Sunflowers and look to see if any more of my tomatoes have turned red. I feel it calms me down. Smile

everythingisginandroses · 17/09/2020 22:45

@MarshmallowManiac - gorgeous sunflower, thank you for sharing your picture Smile

MarshmallowManiac · 17/09/2020 22:57

Glad you liked them Everything Smile

I'm about to get up for a run. The excitement! 😂

WreckTangled · 18/09/2020 06:43

You're crazy.

I've been awake since 4 as my Fitbit buzzed to alert me my sugar level was dropping and I Clint get back to sleep. Luckily I did lots of housework yesterday so once I'm back from food shopping I don't have to do anything.

pussycatinboots · 18/09/2020 06:45

Have fun! I'm about to make some toast.😁
Todays big decision is Jam or Marmalade...

WreckTangled · 18/09/2020 06:56

Marmite for me please, I don't like sweet things on toast Grin

lachy · 18/09/2020 07:13

Marmite here too.

Today will mostly be about drinking all the coffee after a dreadful nights sleep 💤 😴

NoWordForFluffy · 18/09/2020 07:44

I survived! 😂😂

It wasn't fast, or pretty, but I did it. My speed and stamina will pick up the more I do it though.

It wasn't quite 5k, but I should get to that in a week or so, once my speed / stamina improve.

Wreck, I don't like sweet stuff on toast or bread. I'm definitely a Marmite fan.

I got bitten loads yesterday. I'm not sure by what and when during the day, but my legs were covered by the evening!

That's annoying re the Fitbit, Wreck. Did you get up to eat?

My lunchtime filler is cleaning the bathroom today. My life is a rollercoaster. 😂😂

WreckTangled · 18/09/2020 07:51

No I stayed in bed and ate a milk bottle but still couldn't get back to sleep! Well done on the run

CrazyBaubles · 18/09/2020 08:03

Firefly I love the nutcracker soap dispenser although I don't really do anything Christmassy for the bathroom (apart from a lovely glass snowman and bauble I was given with bubble bath in which I refill and leave out).

puss Always jam here or Nutella

We've rebooked the cruise for next December. They have us an extra 25% credit on the cost so we've booked one with an extra night and they've very kindly let us off / waived the extra £15 each we would have needed to pay so I'm happy with that.

lachy I don't think we've used the zombie bench for a while but it's all yours if you're tired.

Well done on the run Fluffy.

The party yesterday was lovely but full on. Niece wanted to open all the presents while singing happy birthday, nephew didn't care about his presents at all - he ended up cuddling a dinosaur balloon and watching her open all the presents 😂

My day is completely boring today. Work, housework, tv and crochet / cross stitch. My headache has gone (for now) but I'm still feeling worn out from it.
I may also have a little look through some cookbooks for lunch ideas because I'm getting a bit bored of my standard cheese & crackers or soup now, and if the JO Christmas book happens to land in my lap it won't be the worst thing.

pussycatinboots · 18/09/2020 08:05

I suppose you're right about sweet stuff on toast - it's not particularly good for you.
I did a bacon butty with a fried egg on it instead.🐷

NoWordForFluffy · 18/09/2020 08:26

Ooh, forgot to say. My Woolly-enabled purchase arrived yesterday!

Crazy, I'm glad you enjoyed the party and your headache has kind of dissipated.

Firefly, need or want the soap dispenser?! It is cute!

Loving your breakfast, Boots. I had fake Weetabix with a banana / SS milk. Thrilling.

TheWoollybacksWife · 18/09/2020 08:31

What am I being blamed for now 😂

I had tea and toast for breakfast. At stupid o'clock as I have to fast. I want a bacon butty 😢

NoWordForFluffy · 18/09/2020 08:54

Oops. Forgot the photo!

Is the op today? Good luck!

That's always the question when it comes to Christmas purchases, isn't it Fluffy Grin

I've not had breakfast yet, too early for me. Even in normal times, I wouldn't have it until about 10. The only thing I ever have on toast is butter - not a fan of jam (only on scones), Nutella (only out of the jar with a spoon Blush) or Marmite (um, never. I do like Twiglets, though).

Crazy glad to hear you're doing a bit better. The party sounds like a roaring success Grin I'm sure JO has some great lunch ideas! Otherwise, we're just coming into pomegranate season. I love making jewelled wild rice/couscous salad with diced salad veggies. You just need mint and parsley. Takes a while to chop, but dead easy and very yummy!

FireflyGirl · 18/09/2020 09:13

Good luck with your opinion, Woolly

And is it today DD2 finally gets the keys, MrsM?

FireflyGirl · 18/09/2020 09:15

Good luck with your opinion, Woolly

Hopefully it's clear I was auto corrected and meant op Blush I am not judging you for wanting a bacon sandwich...

pussycatinboots · 18/09/2020 09:19

Firefly 😂

Woolly Good luck - I'm sure you can have a bacon butty when it's all over.

NoWordForFluffy · 18/09/2020 09:24

I think this year you should just buy whatever the hell takes your fancy! It's been a weird year, after all.

We're potentially going into local lockdown soon too as we're on a watch list now. The joys.

pussycatinboots · 18/09/2020 09:51

fluffy I read somewhere that we might be too...and you and I are at the extremes of quite a big area!

TheWoollybacksWife · 18/09/2020 09:58

SIL mentioned it too this morning. She's in a bubble with MIL but they are in different NW counties. I've spent the morning signing MIL up to various supermarkets in case of needing deliveries. A vain hope that there will be a slot available if she needs one given the chaos in March but worth a shot.

Op is at lunchtime - thank you everyone for your good wishes

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/09/2020 10:25

Ahh Good Luck Woolly
When they wheel you through the doors , just think "I am here now , all the hard work is on them (Surgeons and Theatre Staff) I am going Out Of It "

And you can dream about your bacon buttie .
