Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Shhhsleeping the LF boxes are 3x2 beauty boxes. Oddly they don't come up on the regular website but if you Google them they do. They are all the same though, just be aware of that.

Truffle Shuffle- a couple of years ago I got some HP stuff iirc. Bit hit and miss- order didn't arrive till mid January then they sent it twice. Quality was your typical non branded t shirty gadgety iwoot style quality. Wouldn't use them again unless there was something I really really wanted.

Shhhsleeping · 06/09/2020 10:45

@TheSeedsOfADream thanks. I've had a look and they are sold out nowSad

pasinphoebe · 06/09/2020 10:52

@Sneezein3s I think I might have already commented this so sorry if I’m repeating myself ...
Instead of a tonie we bought ours a Bluetooth speaker (we chose a little rabbit one for our 5 year old) then we use our phones to play stories through the speaker.
We got the speaker from typo but others obvs available :)
We are actually listening to the worst witch now actually - this is a free audiobook from the library audiobook app called borrowbox.
Sign up to any library and you have full, free access to borrowbox for audiobooks to borrow.
We also use audible and youtube for stories.
We liked the tonie but this has been a cheaper option and the speaker is tiny and gets taken to hotels, grannies etc.
Melissa and Doug Puppets back down to £4.99 :) amzn.to/3i6HpPD
Thankyou, finally got them!

danuta22 · 06/09/2020 11:07

woodwaj, yes taste in smell is very individual, but there are 3 different fragrances to choose from. I've had the Philosophy pure grace set before, it's actually my favourite perfume. I like the clean smell. The eau de toilette 120ml is usually just under 50 on it's own, so to get 3 other products for the same price is a good deal, in my opinion.

IggyAce · 06/09/2020 11:19

revolution beauty have 20% off a selection of products, popular brand with my teen and her friends.

This is maybe random but...anyone any idea where to get novelty toothbrushes? Maybe a unicorn handle or similar? I've tried ebay (they were most definitely not suitable when I searched "novelty toothbrush" Blush ) & dd2 already has a small stock of Primark's unicorn and star ones. I always try to put a novelty one in their stockings but struggling this year.

sorryiasked · 06/09/2020 11:28

Malfy not Malt!

danuta22 · 06/09/2020 11:32

lucysmam, have you tried Home Bargains for novelty tooth brushes? They used to do them, but I haven't been in for a while.

superstar84 · 06/09/2020 11:32

Home Bargains do loads of nicely toothbrushes, also sets for £2 with a toothbrush, cup and toothpaste in loads of kids designs

PinkDaydreams · 06/09/2020 11:47

lucysmam · 06/09/2020 11:59

@danuta22 yep, I've tried in there already. There were either proper ones or kids ones that were a bit young for dd (she's ten).

Restlessinthenorth · 06/09/2020 12:09

@Hophop26 this is really helpful! If i could get the airoplane for such a great price I would probably get both!! Really good to hear that the helicopter looks substantial, will get one ordered

MsMiaWallace · 06/09/2020 12:13

Looking at a hoverboard too for my soon to be 9 year old too.
Amazon seem to look good.

Hophop26 · 06/09/2020 12:14

That’s the dangerous bit, I’m tempted to get the helicopter too Grin

Elphaba17 · 06/09/2020 12:33

I'm so tempted by that Philosophy offer but with both kids back at school and activities this week finances have taken a bit.

Danuta, I love the clean smell of Pure Grace too though Amazing Grace would be my absolute favourite. I just find it such a calming scent if that makes sense? I've seen an offer before of small bottles of all the fragrances boxed together so may hold out for a deal on something similar and treat myself.

Elphaba17 · 06/09/2020 12:34

Hit not a bit!!!

danuta22 · 06/09/2020 12:48

Elphaba17, agree, the smell is comforting :) hopefully there will be other offers on them nearer Christmas. Qvc has it on 3 "easy payments" today, so think I'll go for it.

Merriwicks · 06/09/2020 13:04

A couple of threads back people were recommending a paw patrol helicopter..? I cant find it again. Can anyone remember? Also just to confirm would it suit 4 year old boy and girl?

nillygin · 06/09/2020 13:12

@Methenyouplus4 what about something from paperpod for your DS? They do great cardboard play dens - the kids can decorate them and if they loose interest they are cardboard and can be recycled! My girls have previously loved the house but they do a cool igloo and something that looks like a ufo. Even flat packed the package is quite large too!

nillygin · 06/09/2020 13:19

Actually just checked and the igloo is a different brand but same idea.

IggyAce · 06/09/2020 13:40

@Merriwicks I think the Entertainer had reductions on paw patrol toys.
