Thanks @sorryiasked for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Rubyroo73 echo dot

CurseryKinkajoo · 03/09/2020 19:24

The Echo Dot offer is only for eligible customers. I'm not I guess because I took advantage of the same offer last year!!

Ewock · 03/09/2020 19:25

Can I ask how do you know what sizes you will get in the Zavvi box? I can't see an option for size thanks

DaisyChops · 03/09/2020 19:31

Thanks for the lego code, that's a really good offer!
I'm not sure what to do though? I could get 20% off the Mario lego, seems like a good deal, do lego offers on the new lego ranges usually happen nearer Christmas on amazon? I usually buy older lego sets cheaper, I've never really bought the new seats before but DS has asked for this already!

DaisyChops · 03/09/2020 19:33

Obviously I mean sets and not seats! Does anyone have the Mario lego, the set looks tiny!!! I would need to buy some big cheap presents to go alongside it!

Courtney555 · 03/09/2020 19:37

Not especially Christmas related as it's for me, but can anyone suggest some really lovely mugs? I had some beautiful iridescent ceramic ones shaped like ostrich eggs. And DH smashed one Sad and my OCD means that if one is broken and the set is no longer complete, it will bother me every day. Usually I would buy a single replacement but they are discontinued. So, I need a new gorgeous set to replace them with...

FrolickingLemon · 03/09/2020 19:38

I'd actually fo with 'Not Looking So Fantastic' as the next thread. They clearly advertised 3 different boxes in the offer, then obviously didn't give a shite which ones they lobbed into people's orders.

I really like the look of this company: www.glosters.co.uk/collections/mugs

Also Sarah Allport does lovely ones and so does Denby.

Rubyroo73 · 03/09/2020 19:41

@sorryiasked thank you!

Lemming20 · 03/09/2020 19:44

The le crueset wine set is back down to £9.34 on amazon :)

Someaddedsugar · 03/09/2020 19:44

@Courtney555 Cox and Cox also do lovely big jugs

Someaddedsugar · 03/09/2020 19:44

@Courtney555 that's meant to say 'lovely big mugs' bloody autocorrect - clearly I often think about big jugs!

Tigerty · 03/09/2020 19:50

Can anyone recommend a premium brand hand wash that would make a nice small gift? It needs to be in a red bottle with a pump. Very specific I know, I'm struggling to find anything suitable!

UselessInDisguise · 03/09/2020 19:54

Scoffing at lovely big hugs 😄

UselessInDisguise · 03/09/2020 19:55

mummymilkfloat · 03/09/2020 19:56

Hello!
Looking for another suggestion from you helpful lot....
I’m going to get the Lego friends advent calendar for my 5yo (is there a way to get them reduced?! This is the first year she is into Lego, I know there’s usually lots of chat about it on here but I’ve previously skipped past!)

and I would like a good advent calendar for my 2.5yo, he likes vehicles if that’s any help? Thanks in advance!

sorryiasked · 03/09/2020 19:57

@Courtney555 there are lots of places that do discontinued china - do you have the details of the broken one?

WisestIsShe · 03/09/2020 19:57

@lemming20 Thank you!

lucysmam · 03/09/2020 19:57

@YourHandInMyHand (I'm on pg 7 so entirely possible this'll be totally irrelevant by the time I get all the way to the end but...)

Definitely look for one in CEX before paying for new. All our consoles over the past few years have been from there & we've never had any issues with them. Dd2's currently Minecrafting on an X-box bought two years ago and the girls' dad is playing downstairs on one bought 3 months ago. His previous one lasted 6 or so years before giving up.

Last time we had a fault with something from there it was a phone & the screen just stopped wotking - they swapped it for a different phone with no problems (in fact, because the same model wasn't in stock, I got the next one up with a tenner off the price in the window).

1stTimeMama · 03/09/2020 19:58

Do we think the John Lewis Lego offer might be the best we get? I'm after HP and Friends sets, not on offer anywhere that I can see at the moment, but wondering if there might be something better come up nearer to Christmas.

Yeknom · 03/09/2020 19:58

@mummymilkfloat I had already got my daughter a playmobil calendar in the sale (she'd have also loved the lego friends one)...for my vehicle obsessed boy I've gone for the Thomas the Tank Engine Mini one (not cheap though - £20 Asda)

AndddddHerewegoagain · 03/09/2020 19:59

@Lemming20 do you have a link? Just says out of stock to me!

noodledoodler · 03/09/2020 20:00
