Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Are there any beer or ales gifts people can recommend? Or gin? Looking for Christmas gifts for the brothers!

ShandlersWig · 30/08/2020 12:47

Simply cook has transformed our meals. Very rarely have takeaways as these are healthier and way more tasty.

MulberryPeony · 30/08/2020 12:55

@ShandlersWig you are right they are notorious for breaking! If you are handy (and good with fiddly stuff) the little repair kits you get off amazon work really well and you can just follow a YouTube video to do the repairs. I have one spare button left lol.

Hophop26 · 30/08/2020 12:55

Thank you for the Alex and Alexa code whoever posted that, got dcs winter Clark’s boots for less than half price and other bits at great discount. Some good bits in their toys as well

MsMiaWallace · 30/08/2020 13:10

I'm hoping to get DS an electric scooter if anyone knows of any offers on them?

Makedo · 30/08/2020 13:21

I noticed Fenwicks have a wee sale on sylvanian families. Not bad bit not brilliant except a few wee sets at a good price (£4 for laundy £7 for the toilet). Delivery is only free over £25 so use if you just want wee bits but if you live nearby you could pop in or maybe click and collect.

here

Sarahclacko · 30/08/2020 13:25

@Lockdownlumpy Spicentice.com and JD seasonings both do packets of spice mixes and there’s usually a good discount code if you search on either google or Instagram. Make great gifts for friend and family that are doing a weight loss program

IggyAce · 30/08/2020 13:30

I got the Spicery how to be a curry legend tin last year for dh, it was a big hit and we cook something at least once a week. With the sale and a referral code it was about £22 and the set is enough to make 5-6 curries from the book.
I’m hoping for a similar sale this year as he has expressed an interest in the new taco legend set.

Bluewavescrashing · 30/08/2020 13:37

I can use my teacher discount on the Seasalt Janelle which takes it down to £112. I'm going to get it next month (overspent this month!) on payday. I need a looooong coat so it seems the best one which is warm and waterproof (apart from North Face and I can't justify £200 plus).

Tiggles · 30/08/2020 13:42

Also on zavvi they have lots of kids Harry Potter t shirts in 2 for £10 (or they were yesterday). Got several slytherin ones for ds.

BadgerFace · 30/08/2020 13:59

Thanks @purplepandas for the Mountain Warehouse tip, I’ve just got some good bargains!

Raindancer411 · 30/08/2020 14:07

John Lewis have 25% off some sylvanian families stuff. Other half managed to get spare joy cons for the switch for £35.08 on amazon but think they may be back to normal price

stressbucket1 · 30/08/2020 14:14

Has anyone tried the look fantastic mystery beauty boxes? They apparently have £80 worth of stuff in for £15 plus they are 3 for 2 so work out at £10 each with free delivery

NoWordForFluffy · 30/08/2020 14:15

@IggyAce, the Taco Legend was really cheap if you pre-ordered. It's a shame you missed it. Xmas Sad

Purpletigers · 30/08/2020 14:32

suki-tea.com/teaware/teapots?p=1
What about this website for tea lovers ?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 30/08/2020 14:35

@stressbucket1 I got that deal last year from look fantastic. Lots of stuff in them, the teens in my family were impressed. Don’t know if it was £80 worth but certainly a lot more than £10! Thanks for spotting, I’ve ordered again.

stressbucket1 · 30/08/2020 14:37

Oh thats good to know. I've just ordered. Hopefully will do a couple of gifts if not will be a treat to myself!

abitoflight · 30/08/2020 14:41

Thank you so much for beauty box idea
Got 3

Courtney555 · 30/08/2020 14:55

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh I missed the pirate ship

Gooseysgirl · 30/08/2020 15:01

Just wanted to second the recommendation for The Spicery - got my DH a kit for Christmas and he LOVES it!

birdlady12 · 30/08/2020 15:13

The look fantastic mystery boxes. If i order three, will it be the same 3 boxes? I just would like to know if i'd get duplicates or different ones?

Brashopper · 30/08/2020 15:18

I can’t find the look fantastic mystery beauty boxes on their website. Could someone generously provide a link?

aimslou · 30/08/2020 15:29

I just typed it in google and it came up, I have ordered 3 in hope they are all different

Brashopper · 30/08/2020 15:33

Thank you, @aimslou
