Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

I'm also having trouble with John Lewis. Trying to buy towels, got the card and it seems to be linked (appears on top of the order) but still says promo code not valid.
Any advice please?

icedaisy · 19/08/2020 13:48

Not perhaps a gift but lots of babies on thread.

Free angel care nappy disposal system.

Create a baby wish list on Amazon

Go to angelcare nappy disposal system and add to wish list

Add at least 20 from baby store of products.

Add products valuing twenty and nappy bin to basket.

Proceed to checkout and at review order stage will see 19.99 deducted for bin.

Mum sent me this link from mirror online today so if you google free angelcare nappy bin news it takes you to that then to amazon link.

Not quite Christmassy but Looking for suggestions for a house gift?
Friend just bought her first house with her boyfriend, which was delayed with lockdown.

Budget maybe around £30 mark

She loves plants, has a million indoor ones. And now has a garden so was thinking maybe something for the garden. But open to suggestions.

Keep plugging away. It took me loads of attempts with my DH's order.

BighouseLittlemouse · 19/08/2020 14:37

@WisestIsShe - I couldn’t get it to work with towels either! Then it did with something else

Emma1962 · 19/08/2020 14:48

@ClaraLane thanks for the coaster code just ordered some for MiL. Bargain!

Mrsfussypants1 · 19/08/2020 15:21

Me! I'm not picking them up till Friday (collect from store) so I don't know yet. If they have a short life I may have to use them myself, they're lush.

Mrsfussypants1 · 19/08/2020 15:22

Above I'm talking about the cocoba balls.

WisestIsShe · 19/08/2020 15:24

Thanks @BighouseLittlemouse and @NoWordForFluffy I'm giving up obviously John Lewis don't want to discount anything for me!

Cherryrainbow · 19/08/2020 15:33

Theres info about this years lush advent calender out today! if you google lush christmas 2020 it should come up with stuff, it looks like it can be pre ordered from end of this month. good indicator of the individual pieces coming out for stocking fillers etc x

PissingKitten · 19/08/2020 15:35

Thanks Mrsfussypants1. I may wait to order them - would you mind reporting back when you have them? Smile

allatonce99 · 19/08/2020 15:37

I have had an email from free prints saying they are giving away a free photo mug just pay p&p (which I think is £6! So maybe not a big bargain!)
I sometimes use the free prints app (45 free prints per month just pay postage) and it has the option when I open the app to create a free mug. I can't vouch for quality of their mugs as never ordered one.

PinkDaydreams · 19/08/2020 15:37

Check your emails! I’ve had one from FreePrints with a free photo mug (postage charge of £5.99). No code, just a button to click that’s says ‘get my free mug’.

PinkDaydreams · 19/08/2020 15:37

@allatonce99 you beat me to it! Wink

Cloud1921 · 19/08/2020 15:45

FreePrints has a free photo mug you just pay postage. Postage is £6.99 so expensive but most places are charging around £10 for a photo mug before delivery so I think it's a deal.

Bought for my grandad who're notoriously difficult to buy for

Mrsfussypants1 · 19/08/2020 15:52

Pissing kitten i'll update on Friday morning.

Suzanne12 · 19/08/2020 15:53

Studio have 2 personalised kids dressing gowns for £12. You can use code 012 to get 10% off and free p&p. So it's £10.80 for 2 dressing gowns including delivery.

BionicEar · 19/08/2020 15:57

Thanks to all the posters who have made fab suggestions so far.

www.toystreet.co.uk/product-category/sale/ has some good offers and discount codes on site if you buy 3 or 5 items.

Check out board games as good deals on there too like the Ride Europe types.

If you are into strategic games you may like Qwirkle and think this is one of the cheapest places to buy online from at the moment.

You may get a better deal as well if you go in from money saving sites like Quidco etc.

covidmonkey · 19/08/2020 16:18

I was thinking a Lush calendar for dd8 but after I saw the price I think she won't get it. She would like to have a bath bomb advent calendar.

purplediva · 19/08/2020 16:21

did anyone order and already collected the hotel chocolat cocoa gin set from JL and know the best before date on the chocolate?

Suzanne12 · 19/08/2020 16:36

Does anyone know of any good deals on Schleich animals?

TheGirlWhoLived · 19/08/2020 16:43

@Wigglegiggle0520 @MissRabbitIsExhausted @xoxogossipgirl2020

Thanks so much for your recommendations! I’m keen for the rosebud cottage as my girls had that eons ago and really loved it, Will keep in mind the Disney castle though, haven’t had any experience with those. Might get the advent calendar too, depends on funds closer to the time!

Myhouse2011 · 19/08/2020 17:34

@RaggieDolls did you get free delivery? I’ve over £30 in my basket but delivery isn’t being taken off.

RaggieDolls · 19/08/2020 17:59

@Myhouse2011, yes, I did. It didn't look like it was taking it off until you got to the last checkout page.
