Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Juiceey · 19/08/2020 19:12

Is the Hotel Chocolat velvatiser worth it?

sorryiasked · 19/08/2020 19:17

70% off Dr Botanicals this weekend with code AUGUST70

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 19/08/2020 19:34

@runningpink a HAWS watering can? The indoor ones are about £26 - gorgeous! I'm going to buy one for my Mum I think.

WickedEmoji · 19/08/2020 19:39

Excellent deal on the dressing gowns at studio, thanks. The code didnt work for me, but the third one unwanted was discounted anyway so that plus the two for £12 and managed to get three for £20, including postage, which is still a bargain!

WickedEmoji · 19/08/2020 19:39

I wanted not unwanted!

Hurryupbaby11 · 19/08/2020 19:44

@runningpink - how about a personalised rose from something from www.countrygardenroses.co.uk. You can search for roses by name or they probably do friend/home ones? Also an A-Z option to see everything on offer. I've ordered from them several times and always been well received and good quality!

Mrsfussypants1 · 19/08/2020 19:47

Velvitizer yes yes yes! Just about to have salted caramel hit choc & toasted tea cake. Can't wait for return if Christmas flavours, 2 years in and it's in constant use. Different flavours of hot chic sell out quick though.

HawkinsLab · 19/08/2020 19:52

Oooh - good to hear about the Velvetiser! I’ve been toying with getting one for ages but this £35 off tipped it for me. Not necessarily Christmassy as I’m sure mine will be in use as soon as it arrives Blush

ClaraLane · 19/08/2020 20:02

@runningpink

Not quite Christmassy but Looking for suggestions for a house gift? Friend just bought her first house with her boyfriend, which was delayed with lockdown.

Budget maybe around £30 mark

She loves plants, has a million indoor ones. And now has a garden so was thinking maybe something for the garden. But open to suggestions.

What about a retro watering can? We bought one for DH’s grandad who is an avid gardener and he loves it. Lots of different colours available, we got ours from ebay but here’s an example of the sort I mean: Selections 3.5 Litre Heritage Blue & Copper Metal Watering Can with Rose www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07P5DH5M9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qBxpFb4AZJ2ZD?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

That plus a nice rose bush for her to plant in the garden would be lovely.

ClaraLane · 19/08/2020 20:05

Oops just saw that @CottonHeadedNinnyMug and @Hurryupbaby11 had the same thoughts as me!

Emma1962 · 19/08/2020 20:06

Oh I really hope I get a velvetiser code! My daughter would love this for Xmas (so would I) but can’t justify the £99 for one.

TenCornMaidens · 19/08/2020 20:08

If anyone has a velvetiser code to donate please consider me. Smile Not sure if it will work of course!

This is a very good deal on a set of speedcubes.
www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07P7YSFF9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nHxpFbBFE3STQ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

My son (and husband) are a Speedcubers and my daughter and I have also competed. The reviews of these are good and they would make perfect stocking stuffers.
