Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

@FilthyforFirth even with postage it’s just over £2 per item. I would get it then try TK Maxx for a ceramic pot.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 26/08/2020 13:48

@TheGriffle could you post a screenshot? DD would love the clay set.

TheGriffle · 26/08/2020 13:49

Meant to post the screenshot!

Sorry, realised as I was rereading that I’d posted my picture of it by accident instead of the amazon screenshot. It looks really good and I think a bargain with the £2.00 off as well.

IggyAce · 26/08/2020 13:52

Right just sorted out the stuff I have squirrelled away and I appear to have lots for teen DD but not a lot for DS 9 so need some small gift ideas for him so please send ideas for Lego & fortnite loving 9 year old.

FilthyforFirth · 26/08/2020 13:54

Thanks @hiredandsqueak. That looks like the Amazon one without the massive delivery! Will go with that one and look for a ceramic pot. Thanks @lockdownhairdontcare will try TK Maxx

MulberryPeony · 26/08/2020 13:56

Just be warned the clay doesn’t set like regular air dry clay. If a book or something falls on the item your child has lovingly created it will become a flat item Blush

Lockdownhairdontcare · 26/08/2020 14:03

Thanks @TheGriffle and @MulberryPeony. Will look for the stuff that sets hard, was thinking to make beads etc for DD.

TheWoollybacksWife · 26/08/2020 14:04

@IggyAce there are Fortnite Funko Pops. Gamer socks. Skins for his controllers.

TheWoollybacksWife · 26/08/2020 14:06

Also there are a couple of sellers on Etsy that do game controller shaped bath bombs.

FilthyforFirth · 26/08/2020 14:09

Amazing, I also got a randon £5 voucher off of thar purchase so was only £17.99. Feels like a right bargain now! Thanks @hiredandsqueak!

LatteLover12 · 26/08/2020 14:27

Thanks so much for the Nike tip @Lockdownhairdontcare I've just saved a small fortune on trainers for my eldest DS 🙌🏻

NewYearmorestress · 26/08/2020 14:32

Thank you for the beer link, ordered as an advent calendar for my other half.

DaisyChops · 26/08/2020 15:24

My new sparks offer is a bag of salad!! 😂

Luxplus · 26/08/2020 15:31

I managed to get 6 dolls for 65 euros from the lottie doll website and free shipping to Denmark. Quite a scoop Grin

luckiestgirl · 26/08/2020 15:40

Thanks for the weighted blanket code! I’ll probably gift the weighted duvet cover and eye mask (maybe add a sleep-aiding pillow spray and make a little bed set gift) and keep the blanket for myself!

blanket set

With code VJ4PQ46J makes it £22

I couldn’t get the flavourly beer site to work for me either so I gave up on the 24 beers

lexloofah · 26/08/2020 15:45

Present storage: small and stocking items in hold-all under our bed which is too low for hide and seek so no one goes under there, caught out by hide and seek in previous years when I thought I had found a cunning place to hide gifts in the airing cupboard....

Now we use the suitcases for big stuff

bookwormbeagle · 26/08/2020 16:39

Thank you so much for the weighted blanket link @evilherbivore I've been looking for one for Dd for ages, and that bargainous price is amazing!

£22.40 and also comes with quilt cover and weighted eye mask!

thelegohooverer · 26/08/2020 16:48

What was the name of the company that did the flavoured marshmallows, last year or the year before? I vaguely remember they had an advent calendar so I want to keep an eye out for it if it exists outside my imagination

Also can anyone recommend an advent calendar for a 40ish woman who is very much into make up and beauty products. I’m truly clueless about brands and she’s a total brand snob, but she’s lovely and deserves pampering. Hoping for bargainous but higher end, and can wait patiently to pounce on a bargain if I know what I’m stalking!

Ewock · 26/08/2020 16:51

Managed to get the beer deal but took alot of tries to get it added to the basket then quite a while to get to the payment page!

MulberryPeony · 26/08/2020 16:53

Do I need a weighted blanket? The higher weight one must have sold out but the code works with the next weight down so is under £20 with the code.

Luxplus · 26/08/2020 16:55

@Fuckingfuckssake if you buy for 60 euros you get the swan lake doll for free automatically added to the basket. I choose the bundles and on offer doll so got 2 ballerina and 1 boy doll for 65 euros and then the free doll on top Grin

MulberryPeony · 26/08/2020 16:56

It’s not under £20 it’s £22.40 sorry, didn’t realise I’d had a refund in my account lol. Think I’d prefer a plug in blanket instead.
