Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I managed to get the beers 👍 will split into 3 gifts and wrap in cellophane as a hamper.

Adelais · 26/08/2020 09:37

The Hot Wheels mega hauler track is now only £7 on amazon amzn.to/3aZPfrq

UselessInDisguise · 26/08/2020 09:38

Hmm but concerned about the beer now. I guess just have to see when it comes. How are you going to use as an advent BTW? Rejig the box? Or just let DH grab one a day?

Yeknom · 26/08/2020 09:42

I did wonder about dates for the beer! It's my dads birthday in October so I'll just use them for then and hope for the best Grin

WisestIsShe · 26/08/2020 09:57

@UselessInDisguise I was going to put each one in a stripey paper bag and use a gift tag to number them. In a basket or gift wrap box.
I still have some of the paper bags from last year!

Hophop26 · 26/08/2020 10:06

Thanks for the storage suggestions, conclusion is I need an ottoman bed ha! With small children it’s the size of some of the boxes I struggle with and pretty sure I’m now stocked up enough to cover stocking fillers for the next 2 christmasses Grin

Adelais · 26/08/2020 10:20

Just had a ccc alert for the Sylvanian Families Campervan which is down to £20.99 the cheapest ive seen it so far.

Re hiding presents I keep dds bigger boxes in mils. Thankfully she has a couple of spare rooms so let's me take over one from around September 😂
Smaller things to in the shelf on top of my wardrobe which is taller than me so I can probably get away with that for another couple of years

Lellyo · 26/08/2020 10:34

Monopoly Deal reduced on Amazon £4.49 and £6.40 .... not sure why the price difference as they look the same? May be good for a stocking filler?

MaverickDanger · 26/08/2020 10:43

ASOS have got 20% off sale items currently with code ASOSSALEHOLS.

Managed to pick DH up some sports shorts, Nike joggers and pants. They also have a lot of branded things, make up & little stocking fillers.

Scanner20 · 26/08/2020 10:52

Sorry no link, was on the app. These dolls are £25 in stores. Bella is a good buy at 9.99

BTS25 just saved me 25% at Nike.
If you are a Nike member you also get free delivery.

ClaraLane · 26/08/2020 10:55

@IggyAce

White stuff have some Christmas theme socks in their accessory sale down to £2 a pair, they also have everyday socks too, great as a stocking filler.
You’re a star - I just got 4 presents sorted thanks to this post! Plus I put my mum’s name down as referring me which took another 20% off, cracking bargain!
Courtney555 · 26/08/2020 10:56

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 26/08/2020 11:32

I don't think a new switch will be this year. They only this year released the lite and the improved battery version. Also to add to the thinking of no new switch is that the new PA and Xbox are releasing this year and Nintendo normally avoid releasing the same year and those

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 26/08/2020 11:34

Also thank you to who recommended vitamasques, mine has just arrived and will be perfect for harder to buy young adults.

I placed some things in my basket after making an account in the intention of going back when I had a spare minute and they sent me a 30% off voucher so that tactic may also work for someone else :-)

quarentini · 26/08/2020 11:34

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2020 11:43

For storage, we keep decoy boxes on top of the wardrobe all year, which we then fill with presents and cover with a Gro blind! 😂

The kids haven't scaled the wardrobe to look. Yet!

Zillaindie · 26/08/2020 11:44

Hello again,

Joining in for another year, Ive only been able to lurk so far but managed to start a bit of a stash.

Looking for ideas for my DTs who will be 3 this year.
We bought them a toy kitchen last year (from Asda, only paid £25 in their sale in around october and would highly recommend)

Bonus for smaller items this year as we are looking at emigrating.
I have been looking at replacing their plastic animals and dinosaurs with some Schleigh versions so any bargains on those would be helpful.
