No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

A bit off topic - but where does everyone hide and store their Christmas bargains when this far ahead? And also keep track of what you’ve got?

I've got an ottoman bed so they go under there. To keep track I use an app called gift list.

My presents (I say my as DH has fuck all to do with any shopping other than financing it, which suits us both) are stored in the under bed drawers of my ancient bed and in the wardrobe. I definitely need a new bed but have to wait until after Christmas to get one as there's far too much stuff hidden within my current one 😂

@Dreamingofwalden, is that air or surface mail? You're better off splitting into separate parcels and sending surface. It's about £11 to NZ for 2kg, so Oz should be similar.

Saw this on Facebook. Also, 22nd or 29th September is the rumoured Smyths £10 event thingy start date!

The Smyths rumour is going around on Facebook but everyone who works there is saying that they've been told it's not on this year. I'd be very surprised if shops stuck to crowd-inducing sales in the current climate.

I think that’s the problem. She’s not really into scarves, make up, jewellery or other light stuff I can think of. I sent a tshirt as part of her gift last year. I have been lacking in inspiration.

@nc600 those are great suggestions and I think she would appreciate them but she has young children and no family near by so I’m not sure of babysitting options. My BiL works shifts so it could be tricky.

@NoWordForFluffy I sent my husband to the post office as I was mainly trapped under twins last year. I’m sure it was airmail and the most expensive option. I’m a bit worried a surface parcel could get quarantined this year.

@PinkFluffyForeskin - love the name - that’s very useful! M and S isn’t really her style and it looks like they don’t food but I can get clothes for the kids.

Surface is no more likely to be quarantined, I'd think (some airmail has been very slow that we know of). And you're still a few weeks from the deadline for posting as well, so there's wriggle room.
