We were soooo tempted by a velvetiser last year but went with a severin milk warmer/frother in the end. It was cheaper, think we paid £80ish and has 750ml capacity so can make whole family hot choc with it and I use it to froth milk for fancy coffee too. Dishwasher friendly which was key for us. Felt more adaptable than the velvetiser and cheaper and we use it loads!

@MummaPI it’s a milk frother, heats milk and also makes it frothy. It’s great for hot chocolate, coffee, milk shakes Or a simple hot milk. The only down side is that you can only make one drink at a time, but to be honest that hasn’t bothered me as it doesn’t take long anyway.

Restless that was me! Best £7 I've spent in a long time, such a lovely gift set, they are still selling for £27. They did taken a while to arrive, and I wasn't sure they would as I've heard next had problems with their sale stock and cancelled orders.

They were packaged lovely too. I'm just going to add a sprig of holly and name tag and gift as it is.

@Mrsfussypants1 huge thanks for spotting that one. You are right, absolutely gorgeous packaging and I love the holly idea. I think you can rearrange the contents around inside the box to make it more obvious to the receiver of all the lovely things inside!

found it now thank you. Not sure why that didn’t occur to me I’ve been hunting high and low on the amazon site itself
