Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Isadora2007 I’ve emailed hotel chocolat & they’ve said if I sign up to the vip they will honour the code for me. Might be worth a try x

hoopdeloop · 20/08/2020 11:48

If anyone has the £35 off the velvetiser code, I’d be eternally grateful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Restlessinthenorth · 20/08/2020 11:56

@Isadora2007 I have a velvertiser code you can have. I was once a student nurse myself and know how much you I'll absolutely deserve all nice things. My DM's won't work on here, but if you are happy to take my email address, I can send it to you that way?

IggyAce · 20/08/2020 12:08

Character.com have a few bargains in there clearance section and if you sign up you get 10%off your first order. They also have 20% off all backpacks.

@bookish83 Thank you!

LionMummyRoar · 20/08/2020 12:49

Thank you to everyone for lots of fab deals!

Revolution have an up to 50% off sale with some lovely eye shadow pallets for teens...although Superdrug currently have them in 3 for 2 with free infinite priming water when you spend £12 (whatever that is Wink) so I guess it depends how much you want to buy.

ScorpioSphinxInACalicoDress · 20/08/2020 13:19

Oooh I'm very tempted by the Neom box. Anybody know what they usually contain?

Isadora2007 · 20/08/2020 13:30

@Restlessinthenorth how lovely. My work email is fairly neutral and can be shared here so you can email me via it? [email protected]
Thank you so much.

Restlessinthenorth · 20/08/2020 13:34

@Isadora2007 I've sent it, just a heads up in case you need to check your junk mail

LatteLover12 · 20/08/2020 13:46

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/08/2020 14:06

I'd love a velvetiser but the normal price is too high for me if there are any codes going spare I'd happily take one!

Mumto3thatsme · 20/08/2020 14:38

Just had an email to say Aldi summer sale starts online today, might be helpful to someone

Mumto3thatsme · 20/08/2020 15:41

Focusanddetermination · 20/08/2020 15:55

In case of use, the lavazza milk frother that was on here last year was about £20 and makes hot chocolate just like the Velvetiser..

UselessInDisguise · 20/08/2020 16:14

Flash 20 gets you an extra 20% off the 50% sale at Tokyo laundry today

UselessInDisguise · 20/08/2020 16:15

Sorry FLASH20

sorryiasked · 20/08/2020 16:25

Crafty Giraffe have BOGOF on their personalised animal shaped decorations here

PinkDaydreams · 20/08/2020 16:32

@Focusanddetermination I’m very happy with my lavazza milk frother! I too wanted the velvetiser but snapped up a milk frother from John Lewis when it was £20 and I’ve got to admit I’m made up with it! And also not as expensive as the velvetiser.

Bluewavescrashing · 20/08/2020 16:33

Does the frother heat the milk or do you use a saucepan?

InDreamland · 20/08/2020 16:46

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but I popped into my local Card Factory today and they had loads of story books for little ones for £1 each! The RRP on the back of the books is £5.99. They have a great selection. Apparently they're had them in for a year but I never noticed them before. Definitely worth taking a look for larger stocking fillers (the books are a good size).

I'll be popping back when I have a little more time to kill to decide which ones to buy - so far the 3 I want from a quick scan of the display unit are The Wind in the Willows, Grandma and Grandad books. Figured the Grandma and Grandad ones can be given to my parents to read to DD when they have her over.

Trumpton · 20/08/2020 16:50

@StarShapedWindow

When the Poncetastic thread starts on 25th September I will post full instructions .

But basically pebbles in base then about 5 bulbs. Water to base of bulbs . Keep cool for a few weeks then warm up in house . I use the alcohol method ( hic) to stunt the greenery without damaging the flowers . I start mine off 14th November ready for Christmas .

Study from Cornell uni HERE

Sorry to go off piste but it fits with the Sarah Raven free deliver code
AU20BB .

PinkDaydreams · 20/08/2020 16:50

@Bluewavescrashing there are three settings, heat the milk, heat and froth or you can have cold froth for things like iced coffee.

MummaPI · 20/08/2020 16:53

I have a question about the Lavazza machine? Is it just like a coffee machine with pods?
