Here we go. We're still a chatty bunch. We're going to knock any previous thread count into a cocked hat!

Go, go, go...

Thank you Why you know us nurses always thinking of ways to make the medicine go down Smile

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 23/08/2020 16:58

I especially like how the blue colouring smudges across all the other colours Mrs.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 23/08/2020 16:59

I leave you all for my after night shift snooze and the creativity over flows.

Mrsmadevans · 23/08/2020 17:02

I know Why it's everything l wanted it to be Smile
They loved it so much & were so grateful for it .

pussycatinboots · 23/08/2020 17:04

Mrs Did it have blueberry jam in it?

Mrsmadevans · 23/08/2020 17:06

It did and l actually foraged in the forest for the blueberries Boot

CrazyBaubles · 23/08/2020 22:12

I've just got home from FILs. My head is thumping so I'm going straight to bed I think.

Neros I did enjoy the film, much more than I expected. I also managed to squeeze in one more before DH got back this morning - Three Days (also on Disney). Perfectly cheesy.

I love Tenby most, but not been for a long time. Should go really as DH has family living there and it isn't that far away.

Woolly in my botched together project bag I have a few spare needles, 3 hoops in different sizes, a thread holder, a scissors and a little box which I use for storing part-threads which are too long to Chuck.

Amazing cakes MrsMad

Morning. Logging on to start work early today ☀️

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 24/08/2020 07:42

Morning Crazy, I am about to finish work so maybe I should say goodnight 🤣

CrazyBaubles · 24/08/2020 07:45

Goodnight why, I hope you manage to get some sleep!

NoWordForFluffy · 24/08/2020 07:47

Morning!

I've just woken up. I always sleep well after a hard allotment session. I can barely move! 😂😂

Work today (boooo) then we're going out for dinner to the Hungry Horse. DS had to earn the right to go back as he was so naughty the other night. He thankfully has (DH wouldn't have given him the chance, but I'm soft!).

Morning.
DH has been next door and watered the hamster and fed the bonsai or something like that I've fed the cat - the little bugger wouldn't go in last night so he spent the night on the prowl and slept on his doorstep Grin Charlie has been giving off (howling) at a strange cat - he was so loud I thought he was ill! (He didn't meow until he was 6 yrs old!) 😺😺😺
DH is changing the bulb in the security light later - this means he's going up a very long ladder. I'm in charge of the fuse box and all the electrics are going off just in case (so I don't fry him)😉🤔🤐
What an exciting day...🤣

pussycatinboots · 24/08/2020 08:35

'Nite why hope you get some sleep. 🥱😴

NoWordForFluffy · 24/08/2020 08:46

I'm pretty sure Midsomer will have had a similar incident, but with a different outcome, Boot! 🙈😂

pussycatinboots · 24/08/2020 08:49

"Electric Vendetta" had doorknobs that were linked to the mains... Blush

NoWordForFluffy · 24/08/2020 09:28

Did you Google that or do you have encyclopaedic knowledge of MM plots?! 🤔🤔

I'm broken today. Everything aches. I don't think there was a muscle group I didn't use yesterday! Send the Deep Heat. 😂😂

OP posts:
pussycatinboots · 24/08/2020 09:44

I knew that one.😎
We've tried changing the bulb and failed. The screw holding the cover down is rusted on and won't budge. Bugger it!
Charlie was so frightened by the ladder that he hid under the rug in the kitchen far from my "big brave boy" from yesterday I did say he was a sensitive little soul, didn't I.😺🤐🤣

NoWordForFluffy · 24/08/2020 09:56

Massive squirt of WD40? Security lights are a pain in the arse. We have them front and back. Does either work? Nope!

OP posts:
pussycatinboots · 24/08/2020 10:01

Access is a massive problem, that and DH being a leftie. He does everything arse-about-tit.
And his knees get in the way climbing a ladder Hmm I do wonder how he was a BCO for 35+ yrs.

CrazyBaubles · 24/08/2020 11:48

Sending deep heat your way Fluffy

Agree about leftie DH's puss. Mine is the same - yet he claims the issue is me! Do you have the term 'cack-handed' where you are? Because it describes my DH to a T!

I can't read and take in any more information so I am taking a 5 minute break before going back and typing up some notes from a meeting. Not strictly necessary but will give me a break from reading!

pussycatinboots · 24/08/2020 12:51

Yup. DH is cack-handed. He deserves a 🏆 for it!

WreckTangled · 24/08/2020 13:04

Afternoon. We're home now and I'm just putting a wash on. Was a very short trip so sad to be home! Dd and I are getting our hair cut later though which will be nice.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/08/2020 17:06

When is it you're away with the kids, Wreck? I remember you saying about the breakfast refund.

We're just off to the Hungry Horse. Can't wait! 😋

WreckTangled · 24/08/2020 17:14

Next Sunday. I've just tried to book a table for breakfast and they only had 7am Hmm

CrazyBaubles · 24/08/2020 17:17

Oh it must be the day for it - we’re out to a local pub for tea tonight for a joint / belated birthday celebration for about 4 people in the family 😊

Very disappointing about breakfast Wreck!

Have you had your hair cut?

I’ve just come back from popping to Matalan (for a very specific pair of pj’s as requested as a birthday present) and found some Christmas presents in their sale (and a pair of shoes for myself). Bargains - £1.50 for each book and £4.50 for the shoes!!
