I finally got back to shooting today, it's been a long 5 months away from it.

Neros my dad shoots. His boss shoots deer which my dad hates, I remember going with him to gut one once 🤮 was it clay pigeon you were doing? Are you prepping for pheasant season?

Neros I went to a shooting range in America last year. First time I'd ever shot a gun and I scared DH with how great a shot I am 😂

I'm just back from seeing my niece and nephews. 10yr old has become a monosyllabic teenager all of a sudden, niece has decided I'm her 'biv-rit' (favourite) so spent a lot of time demanding I hold her hand and making me say "Wow" to all the things she showed me - flowers / toys / her shoes / the path....
Youngest nephew is standing on his own now and quite keen to start walking but the strength isn't quite there yet. His language is coming on though - today he offered me chock-hat (chocolate) 😊
Exhausted now, I have no idea how dsis does it!

I do biathlon wreck. It's skiing and shooting. It's been a while since I've lifted a rifle so my arms will be aching in the morning.

Not as windy here as I thought it was supposed to be, DH is still worried about his bloody roof though 🤣🤣 Had loads of heavy rain about 5.
Neighbours are going away on hols today, so DH is looking after their Hamster and Bonsai - I'm feeding the Cat easiest job ever, he loves tuna and I spoil him😸

We've had wind and rain. I woke in the night and it sounded like I'd got trapped in a washing machine! 😂 I didn't go to the allotment, funnily enough.

Boots, I'm having a 'bored of brown' moment like your blue one for your cross stitch. There's loads on this half as it's completing the row of shops!

I love stitching buildings, so the brown wouldn't bother me.
I'm doing sand at the mo - 667, 676, 746 - now that's boring! I may have left the sky on this one as well, there is a theme running here

Windy here too. I'm not food shopping today, going to do it tomorrow when dh is off. After today he has two weeks off, the first annual leave since Christmas! I'm going to embrace the autumnal feeling today, not sure how, there's lots of leaves on the ground round here though and there'll be plenty more after today.

plenty of colours, but i was hoping to do the sand and grass first then go back and fill in the pinks and purples...I don't think that's going to work.

Morning - I've just scanned back though the last few days and I'm as baffled as ever ............ shooting, stomach aches, waxing, mega gales , Christmas Bedding, Grinch DH who don't like the Christmas Bedding (I have one of those , I just put it on and he deals with it )

Had a delicious Chinese Takeaway last night then felt really , so I might bypass that for our Christmas Eve Eve meal, I don't want to feel bleurgh

Planning to go across The Bridge ( QE11 bt the Rainbow ) but if it's blowing a hoolie then they'll close it / restrict it .
So I'll see later

I need to look for new Christmas bedding . Last few years we had a heavy brushed cotto with stars .....but its a pain to wash/dry (laundrette job) and our male cat likes to sleep on our bed so its constantly patterned with teeny muddy pawprints ( quite sweet really )

So not fleece , , maybe a jersey bottom sheet
I bought a jersey set for DS , its like a soft Tshirt

Bored of brown is definitely part of the reason my Coo isn't finished yet Fluffy!

Similar plan here Wreck. DH is going camping today so I plan to work, tidy the house, walk the dog (hopefully will be cold enough to need a light jacket), then light a winter Christmas candle and settle down to watch something comforting on tv while I cross stitch.

I have bedding envy. I have not got any Christmas bedding. Maybe I need to invest in some this year.

why & 70 Sains have some nice ones in the run up to Christmas. To counter the paw prints, I chuck a cheepo fleece throw over the top for mine to snuggle into, then fold it back so it looks more "organised" less hairy iyswim.

All the bedding I currently own is from Sainsbury's and it's great quality puss
And yes, DH and 3 of his friends are going. They planned to go camping but I think I've heard talk about booking a hostel room because of the weather. They'll still go hiking though 🙄

Also, not sure if anyone remembers my teapot debate? Dm has resolved it by treating me to this one from work 😊 My dm is the best and I Can't wait to make tea in it tomorrow....

Our neighbours looked after our hamster when we went on holiday, and when we came back he had departed this life DC were really upset, poor people they were so sad and apologetic.
