Title inspired by the sweltering heat today but I’m still planing Christmas!!!

@superstar84 - Thank you for sharing the castle! I also have a 3 year old DD and have a camelcamelcamel set up for the Melissa and Doug folding castle for her, but that Asda one is both nicer and cheaper - thanks!

I'm looking for a present for a 3 year old who isn't allowed plastic or Disney/cartoon stuff (She's never watched tv). Last year I got her a Grimm's rainbow. Any suggestions please?

@juiceey my dd got the melissa and Doug key doll house last year and its played with almost every day. It's in wood and none commercial with characters.

Asda do a range called sparkle girl and they do 10 mini barbie style dolls for about £7 which fit in the castle brilliantly if you don't mind plastic ones

Dd got them for Xmas and they've been great

I’d go for half circles to go with the rainbow (increases the building opportunities), craft set (nice paintbrushes, watercolour paints, maybe felt and coloured paper/card, scissors in a wooden toolbox style box) or more grown up role play (Ikea so nice porcelain mugs and metal pots and pans).

Has she got the semi circles to go with the rainbow for building? Grimm’s balls and an egg helter skelter from Amazon/Ebay would be good too so she can make ball runs. Grapat is lovely or maybe some Lanka Kade people for role play (they’ve got police officers/vets/farmer etc).

@Juiceey I'd go for something Melissa and Doug, puzzles or go with craft supplies.

I'm looking for a wooden tool bench for my 3 Year old. As we are talking non plastic toy ideas! If anyone has any experience or seen any good deals.

Do you mean this? If so it's perfect. I've got it in my basket and will keep an eye on it to see if the price drops.

bee08 my daughters favourite happyland sets were the double decker bus, ferris wheel, mushroom fairy House, rocket ship, alien house (not sure they still make this), dinosaur set with caveman house. They also liked the little Christmas set with father christmas in his sleigh, tree, snowman. We also had a big fire engine they liked.

Just got some great stocking fillers from Rex London, Christmas shopping well underway!

@Juiceey depending on budget the Grimms little people in pots are really nice and my girls like playing with them with the rainbow. I bought for DD1 when she was 1 or 2 and they are still played with 5+ years later.

Can I suggest the brand indigo jamm for wooden toys, stocker by Kidly and a few other places

Just had a CCC alert for Ticket to Ride Europe at £12.99. previous lowest ever was £24 something.
Can't tell you what a bargain that is. I paid £30 a few weeks ago and can highly recommend it. Suit about age 9+ I would think. We all love it here.

@Juiceey indeed it was. It's really well built and gets loads of play with from dd, who will be 4 in November but also big sis aged 6.

I've got the ticket to ride junior version for ds for Xmas, so tempted to get this but I think I'd forget where I put it!
