Space NK is having a flash sale - they have some diptique candles in which make a lovely gift.

@captainjacksparrow I got some really cute melamine bowls and plates for DS from Rex London for Christmas and a lovely placemat and coaster which were in their sale too. He’s also getting some fancy bibs from Close Parent and a Klean Kanteen that DD picked for him (already stashed!). He’ll also get things like cutlery, new toothbrush, toothpaste, maybe one of those expanding flannels you put in water and a few other bits for his stocking. I’m thinking of adopting him and DD a donkey/horse at a local sanctuary so stuff from there too. I can also really recommend the Lanka Kade wooden animals and figures, we have loads for DD and they’re a great price and super ethical.

Ooh should say I’m on the look out for anything NASA related for dd13 and ds8 if anyone spots anything. Dd3 will only be 6 months so just need a few bits to open if anyone has any recommendations? Been 8 years since the last baby!

Thanks guys some great suggestions. I’ve been a terrible bargain hunter and paid full price for the new jellycat nutcracker for baby’s stocking.

The only defence I have is he’s gorgeous and it’s Christmas themed so please don’t kick me out!

Morning all, thanks for the great bargains! I’m think about getting the vtech camera for my son, has anyone got one? Does it get much use? Seen it went down to £24 last year so thinking Black Friday might be the time to buy!

@ClaraLane can I ask please where you got the wooden animal's you mention from.
Also can anyone recommend any Happy Land sets that they have and when it the best time to,sales wise.

@BEE08 We love the Lanka Kade animals here, one of my children has SO many! They're a bargain at a little under £3 and we get ours from Babi Pur or Yes Bebe usually. A lot of ethical shops sell them though and most have a permanent 10% discount floating around too.

Can I ask what age the Lanka kade animals are suitable for? Dd will be 6 months at Xmas.

My 7 month old has a Lanka Kade crocodile, although all he does with it at the moment is bash things and try to eat it of course.

There's a website something like Little Footprints which has free postage, but quite a limited range. Otherwise I'd use Babi Pur (because it's welsh 😁) - I think there's normally 10% off for new customers.

My 15 month old only occasionally picks up the lanka kade animals to make the noise they make to me. He doesn't really play with them like he does his cuddles or cars. I'd say any younger than him and it's probably worth getting next year. The little train they do however was a big hit from about 8 months, but he is incredibly fascinated by wheels so it might just be my son!
If I had a 6month old again, I'd get a beatbo. Plastic and alien looking, as well as bright and noisy, but the beatbo toy has been his favourite thing since before he could even press the buttons. The type of thing I never thought I'd buy, but he adores dancing to it over a year later.

@Christmascaker my DS is 5 and we got him the camera for Christmas last year. He does like it, he doesnt play with it every day but always comes back to it.
