Title inspired by the sweltering heat today but I’m still planing Christmas!!!

Thank you to chips for keeping the seat warm for me.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Re NASA gifts, not always bargainous, but don't forget the royal observatory at Greenwich has a shop shop.rmg.co.uk

Searching Nasa will bring up a few things but search for space for a wider selection. Some lovely things and some on sale right now

This Uttora explorer set is £10.73 with a 15% off voucher that it let me add at checkout (automatically - just ticked the box) the reviews look good and CCC suggests it's a good price. Hoping my DS will like it as he likes being outside!

@runningpink thanks for the FatFace heads up. I got a lovely shirt and t shirt for my husband. I love the quality of FatFace shirts.

wornoutboots · 18/08/2020 10:58

We have the personalised books, can't see 2 of ours (definitely the same range though) and my girl has the shoes one. She likes it because it's her name but they the stories in them aren't great. Certainly wouldn't be worth the full price, but the reduced one is ok

PinkDaydreams · 18/08/2020 11:14

Thank you to the poster that said about the lidl toys. I’ve bought the magnetic drawing board for £5 and am pleased with it, thank you!

PinkDaydreams · 18/08/2020 11:16

Spark and beans (or beans and spark) used to do a free personalized book, it’s now half price though. I seem to remember good reviews

ScorpioSphinxInACalicoDress · 18/08/2020 11:32

Louisa- wait a bit for more Lisa Angel flash sales.
I downloaded the Christmas gift app. Grin
Dp (off work for two weeks) keeps picking boxes up and going "is this empty?" "What is this?"
I'm counting the days till he goes back to sort my Christmas cupboard out!

MsMiaWallace · 18/08/2020 11:34

Does anyone know of how to get a discount Nintendo Switch?

Vebrithien · 18/08/2020 11:56

My bargain of the week. No 7 tin in Boots for £5. Includes an airbrush away primer, a black eyeliner and a pale gold/cream eyeshadow. Apparently worth £24.

BUT it also includes a voucher (valid immediately) for a free eye cream. There are 4 different types available, and the pink on I got in the photo is £20 on its own!!

I'll put it in the tin as a lovely present for my DM for Christmas, but you could get several, if you wanted to try the different eye creams on the cheap.

So, £44 of product for £5 Grin

Could be split up for a teens advent calendar?

Not sure if online or not, but my medium sized store have loads in stock yesterday.

Can I ask which apps people use to track gifts with? Definitely something I need to do this year as I’ve just bought a duplicate of something I’ve already bought earlier in the year! There seems a lot of choice on the App Store 🙈
On the bargain front - lots of stocking filler toys for sale in my local Sainsbury’s - blindbags down to &1.50, smashers eggs from £10 to £2, trolls world tour merchandise reduced

I made my own spreadsheet so it contains all the Christmas presents for years. It's OK.
Spam88 · 18/08/2020 12:38

@Theseptemberissues Santa's Bag, think it's iOS only.

Vebrithien · 18/08/2020 13:08

My planning is a bit more old school Grin

Good for 5 years though, and I've written down all of my Christmas recipes in it, so they are all in one place.

Got it last year, for £10, and it makes me so happy!

Missguided black tanning loungewear jumpsuit (airtex underarms) down from £26 to £13 next day delivery currently £1.99. Playpennies posted this a week ago and I bought one to stash away for daughters birthday in November and I have to say I was impressed with the quality of it when it arrived as I've never bought from there before. Perfect for anyone who is making up a pamper set. I've added some bottles of cocoa brown mouse tan (currently reduced to clear in Aldi at £2.99 and going fast) tanning mits, candles from next sale and a lovely Bottega le bon vin gift set ( next fab bargain)

UselessInDisguise · 18/08/2020 13:21
