Title inspired by the sweltering heat today but I’m still planing Christmas!!!

That time dye kit is a good deal, but it's not as big of a saving as they'd have you believe, it's usually anywhere between about £16 and £22. The dye is good quality though and lasts well, I'd recommend it

Would you recommend for an 8 year old ovbiously with my help? She's very crafty and loves doing different things but then I can imagine with her clumsiness and the dye being a disaster waiting to happen

I would nightowl19 I did tie dye with my almost 3 and a half year old earlier this year. He's a tiddly little hippy at heart

We did it outside and with the table (and child!) absolutely covered (I used binbags). We had great fun!

Watch a couple of YouTube tutorials first (MrTieDye) to get the hang of it and tips like soaking what you dye in soda crystals first. I definitely found it easier to watch someone else who knows what they're doing first then have a bash at it.

Argos have some Lego sets on offer for 2 for £15/ 2 for £30 which are usually nearly that amount on their own (like this Speed Champions one - DS2 has just added several to his Christmas list

Just found an excellent price for a Barbie dream house on Argos.... but they can't deliver it and no shops near me have it in stock .... sooo infuriating!

Amazon are doing a thing where if you pop up your account balance by £80 they are giving you an extra £5. I was spending it anyway so a fiver off is better than nothing!

Has everyone seen the crafty shit that Aldi are getting in store on Sunday? Quite a bit is already sold out online but worth popping into if you’ve got one nearby.

I’ve heard rumours that Sainsburys won’t be doing their 25% off this month now and also a possibility of no October toy sale because of Covid and a worry about social distancing from customers.
