@Ingloriousbastard I just clicked into that sylvanian house 5 minutes ago and it was back down, them clicked in it now and it's up again, so worth checking as it seems to be going up and down.

Has anyone seen any good deals or ideas about toy advent calendars?

Dd (almost 12) is interested in a make up/nail varnish one - must be cruelty free.

Ds10 likes minecraft, lego (had these calendars last few years), Percy Jackson/mythology, Harry Potter a bit, nerf.

Ds 8yrs loves minecraft, dinosaurs, dragons, nerf guns.

@PhantomErik I’m sure revolution did a good deal on their advent calendar last year, full of makeup, brushes etc. And I’m pretty sure they’re vegan friendly 🙂

@17catapillars - I bought one about a month ago from John Lewis for £10. I have no idea if that is expensive for them or not but my children have LOVED it. I reckon it's the sort of toy that would be in Aldi/Lidl??!

Percy Jackson- I got DS an orange Camp half blood t shirt from amazon last Christmas- less than £10 and he loves it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an almost one year olds stocking? I'm struggling as it seems his brother has everything already so I'd be duplicating toys..

uselessindisguise how about toys that go with existing sets? A few happyland figures, train for a wooden train set. Or things like a pull back car, wind up toy, buggy book, cuddly toy, teething ring, new bowl/cup/spoon/bib, little outfit to wear, socks, things like those oaty bars/rice crackers.

Just found an excellent price for a Barbie dream house on Argos.... but they can't deliver it and no shops near me have it in stock .... sooo infuriating!

Theres a half price tie dye kit on amazon today. It looks pretty good and is quite popular at the moment!

DS who will be 19 months at Christmas, his stocking is going to have:

Just wanted to say thank you for Forbidden planet sale heads up, spent £57 on 27 graphic novels, mostly hardback! Brilliant 'bulky/big' thing to wrap for 26 year old and also some Adventure Time/ Disney/ Pokemon ones for our littles. Very pleased.

I brought this for DD at the start of lock down and it is really worth £12 she's loved it and kept her busy wanting to try so many different thing

@bertiedraper I know the one I tried all the postcodes of friends and family too! It's a great set but alas we couldn't find it either x

That time dye kit is a good deal, but it's not as big of a saving as they'd have you believe, it's usually anywhere between about £16 and £22. The dye is good quality though and lasts well, I'd recommend it
