Thanks @reastie and @MarshmallowManiac, I wont lie. Apart from finding out I was pregnant (it has been a while of trying, being told I had low egg count and would probably require assistance) it has probably been my worst ever year. The bad news just keeps coming!

DH has a 2nd interview next week and we got a settlement from his redundancy so fingers crossed ok for now.

I find I am obsessing more and more about Christmas as a means of escape! Though I also worry that should we be back in a lockdown family might not meet the little one. I go against the grain on mn and actually love having people around following birth!

Still. I've made a good start this year and looking forward to more bargains to be found! I am hassling family members to be a bit more forthcoming with gift ideas so I can be done by my due date Nov 25th!

I got so many great bargains from these threads last year, I'm excited to start preparing nice and early again this year!

Congratulations to those.of you expecting Christmas babies! I had a thread baby last year - born on the 20th December, that was my motivation for getting organised early and it was soooo much better, I'm determined never.to go back to panic shopping the week before Christmas again!

It was so magical having a tiny newborn baby for Christmas, I'm a little bit jealous!

Not a huge bargain but I saw this on Argos clearance but was out of stock near me. Amazon has dropped it price also - plus the no rush reward!
