DH just saw a little froggy swimming in our pond at the allotment! He said it was only an inch long. ❤️ 🐸

Boots are you watching the footy? DD1 cooked dinner (steak) and I'm sitting with a glass of red wine waiting for the lovely Jurgen.

I start shielding from tonight as I've got a date for my shoulder surgery. Two weeks tomorrow so shielding for 2 weeks before and 1 week after. All meals cooked for me and not allowed in the public areas of the house so no housework. Devastated 🤣 I've loaded my kindle, sorted my craft projects and downloaded some Sky stuff.

Loving all the gardening photos. We've got spuds that are doing very well and our flowers are fantastic. DS waters the hanging baskets as part of his chores and they look amazing.

Woolley I watched the football. It was awful. No atmosphere at all. And it means waiting even longer for us to win the league.
How do you feel about shielding and you surgery?

Oh woolly will you be able to go out in the garden?

@pussycatinboots l have watched all the wire in the blood DVDs with Robson Green as Dr Tony Hill , they were scary! I don't think I like her writing though l loved these . l have the box set of them too 😀

I hope the next few weeks go quickly and smoothly for you Woolly. The thought of craft in bed and no housework or annoying family members sounds lovely for a day or two but I imagine it will be wearing over a long period :(

Going to go to sleep now, DH is on night duty so I should get a decent night :)

Neros I'm fine about it. It's a means to an end and my shoulder is so sore that I'm not sure I could put it off until after lockdown is eased. I've got approximately 30 degrees of movement in any direction and I'm not sleeping for more than 2 hours at a stretch.

Wreck supposed to be completely confined to barracks apart from a Covid test 2 or 3 days before my op. I shouldn't be in areas shared by other members of the family so it depends where everyone else is as to whether I can get out of the patio doors to go into the garden.

We have larvae too, Most! 🙈😂

Morning! I'm awake early again. It's really annoying me now!

It's meant to be nice all week with hot weather Weds and Thurs. Back to watering the allotment from Weds I think.

My room is boiling. I've opened all the windows wide but the sun shines in as soon as it comes up. On the plus side it means it's cool by evening.

I'm in the office today so need to get ready.

Have been up since 6 😴 It's a glorious day here this morning, so hot in the sun already. I'm back to work today after a week off.

Tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to be really hot here

I've got to make DD's birthday cake tonight. Bloody effort! (I did outsource the - Numberblock - topper this year though!)

Morning. We are done for birthdays for the year. Wedding anniversary in the autumn but it's not a big one so full steam ahead for Christmas

I'm planning on making at least one item for each of my DC (more as a challenge for me). The crochet Freddie Mercury is on my list for DS and I want to make socks for my DDs. I've got some lovely Pooh Bear fabric that DD2 will love - I just need to think what I can make. Maybe Biddy can inspire me. It's the fat quarter bundle from Aldi. Bunting is the obvious choice but maybe there's something else.

That's lovely Neros is it a tea light holder?

It's a tea light holder and a tree decoration. Though I won't be putting a candle bear the tree.

It's not big. Slightly smaller than my hand

You can get battery tea lights if you wanted it lit on the tree.

Fluffy I had ordered a few of them but there was only one left. It would probably look a bit outta place to have just the one tea light.

You'll just have to buy more decorations that have tea lights, Neros 😉
