I'll keep that in mind HmmWink

On the plus side, one of our allotment neighbours who I've been chatting to this week offered for me to help myself to her rhubarb. It's DH's favourite!

Fire love Rhubarb it's delish Smile
We used to eat it raw with some sugar when we were kids Smile

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 28/03/2020 06:41

Ooh that crumble looks good fire!

What a bizarre conversation Mrs, can't work out what is going on with Bob and his daughter.

We actually managed to get a delivery slot for today, am intrigued to see what arrives to be honest.

Morning all. I'm still in bed so I'm not sure but it looks very sunny on the other side of my curtains.

MrsMad You've done the right thing with your mum and Bob. If his dd wants to kick off, that's his own family drama to handle.

I finished my cross stitch yesterday - pic attached. Am planning to start a crochet project in the next few days - MIL has requested 'birds' so I'm considering making a budgie, duck and chicken Grin

Ah that cross stitch makes me happy crazy. I just hope that by summer we can go to the beach!

FireflyGirl · 28/03/2020 07:13

That looks great, well done Crazy. I love the feel of finished cross stitch. And the sense of achievement!

Shall we do swapsies, most? Do you need any cat food? Wink

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 28/03/2020 07:24

Well technically we have plenty but the DCats are turning their noses up at it, don't they know there is a pandemic going on?!

Mrsmadevans · 28/03/2020 07:37

The Sheba is missing from the shopping Shock

But I have bread coming! Yey! And enough proper food to make some meals next week, thankfully. And Skittles!

DNeighbour's sultanas are missing, but everything else she wanted is there, so I'll do a doorstep drop later. Although, she posted Conservative propoganda on her Facebook yesterday, so I may have gone off her a bit Wink

FireflyGirl · 28/03/2020 08:09

I broke the news to R-Cat that there's no Sheba. He took advantage to sneak in for a sympathy cuddle (DH is very strict about no flea bags cats on the bed) Grin

WreckTangled · 28/03/2020 08:15

Firefly have you tried amazon? We buy all of our cat food from there as it's cheaper.

Mrs it doesn't sound like she's annoyed at you or your mum just her dad and was just ranting to you about it. Some people really need to think of better things to do with their time other than being angry.

I feel a bit headachy this morning. Coffee will hopefully sort it. So happy DH is home this weekend this week has done me in and so many more weeks of it to come!

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2020 08:19

Morning!

There are far too many angry people in your life, Mrs. It's bizarre. And Bob's grandchildren can't go and bloody visit at the moment anyway. Don't they understand the rules?! Idiots, the lot of them.

I was getting on with my cross stitch last night, after fluking a C&C order for my parents from Tesco today (and then having to ask Why to go and collect it for them!). Mum sounded worried, so I'm glad I managed to sort something.

I love your cross stitch, Crazy. Hopefully we can get to the beach in summer.

Morning. FireFly, your cat looks like my Mum's and Dad's, Dad called him Gerrard, and he's not a Liverpool supporter Grin

Wow Fluffy, you managed to get something no one else can Grin

It's a bit grey here.

DD2 lost her 1st tooth last night, she was over the moon, and the tooth fairy didn't forget to take it away Smile

WreckTangled · 28/03/2020 09:20

Pj our tooth fairy is adhering to the strict social distancing rules because we forgot dd is 9 and knows it isn't really but she still tries! She only has one more baby tooth to lose now!

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 28/03/2020 11:23

Morning folks. Our local Tesco had quite a few click and collect slots yesterday as I have one for tomorrow PJ

Only just woken up I must have been even more knackered than I realised.

Quite chilly here today after so many glorious days. I expect the sun will come out when night shifts start again on Monday 😂

FireflyGirl · 28/03/2020 12:34

Chilly here, too.

DS and I did an hour on the allotment, but cut it short because the wind picked up and it started drizzling.

I braved the scales this morning and despite eating anything and everything for the last two weeks due to boredom and morning sickness, I have only put 2lb on. Counting that as a bonus, and going to be more sensible from now on, so am meal planning.

PJMasksGhekko · 28/03/2020 12:40

I must have just missed them why, I will keep looking for next week though.

I did forget a few times with DD1 Wreck Grin

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 28/03/2020 16:29

So our shop wasn't too bad. No cat litter which is a pain and no bubble mixture. Otherwise all fine :)

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2020 17:39

My mum's order was only missing some soup, I think. Could've been worse! Thank you to Why for collecting / delivering it.

That's not bad on the weight gain, Firefly. Did you put much on with DS?

I did about 2.5 hours on the allotment today. I got about 150 summer bulbs in. I need to go back tomorrow to dig and do something with the 36 plug plants which arrived today!

We haven't lost any teeth yet. DD is 7 in June and the last in her class to lose a tooth!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 28/03/2020 18:03

Ah fluffy ds has lost 6 teeth I think (7). My dc seems to lose their teeth really early compared to their peers Confused so weird.

We're getting an Indian delivered tonight. Found one that does although for two main dishes, one side, two popadoms and a naan it's over £30! We know it'll be the last one in months though.

FireflyGirl · 28/03/2020 18:05

The shops seem to be getting back to normal, thankfully. Although I haven't tried to get loo roll or pasta.

I don't have any summer bulbs at the allotment, but am growing cosmos and chrysanthemums, which did really well there last year, and looked absolutely gorgeous!

I put 4 stone on with DS Blush The problem was that all I could face was basic carbs and haribo, and I was on crutches with SPD. I actually only put a stone on in the first 6 months, the rest went on really quickly, and I think a lot was water.

DS hasn't started losing his teeth yet. I'm sure it won't be long, though.

FireflyGirl · 28/03/2020 18:06

Ooh, sounds yummy Wreck. Enjoy your treat!

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2020 18:25

We are still missing flour here. Our lovely neighbour found a bag for us yesterday though, after DH casually mentioned it in passing over the fence! Best present ever. 😂

Firefly, I put on 5 stone with DD. It was the carbs for me.

Wreck, I lost mine early. The 'hanging onto teeth' gene must come from DH!

OP posts:
TheWoollybacksWife · 28/03/2020 19:53

I've got some bread flour and some plain flour so this morning's bread was a bit of an experiment using 2/3 bread flour and the rest plain. I couldn't tell the difference which was good as it seems like plain flour will be slightly easier to get hold of.

DS is 13 and still had a single baby tooth at his last checkup. The dentist said that he'd probably lose it before his next visit and as far as I know it hasn't fallen out yet. His next checkup was supposed to be on Monday so it needs to happen in the next 36 hours Grin. I actually haven't heard from the dentist to cancel the appointment but I'm assuming that they are only open for emergency appointments.
