Ooh rain nero, send it this way! Although only after about 3PM as currently drying the entire contents of my washing basket in preparation for some rainy days.

FireflyGirl · 27/04/2020 11:50

There's a whole series of them! That site is GENIUS!! Wait until I get my extension...

My appointment is 11am on Thursday, Nero.

NerosFiddle · 27/04/2020 12:12

Most we've just had another pour down. And I had a full line of clothes out too.

Fire I thought it was today for some reason.

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 13:20

fluffy I saw Keir first Wink Grin he's only a few months younger than my DH. His middle name is Rodney...
Firefly you have GOT to buy Dillis - you could get a rodeo outfit for your DS too Wink
or maybe not...
Nero send it to me..I'm normally next in the firing line for weather and it will stop DH drowning me spuds Shock again.
most if you're looking at the BBC forecast you'd be better off with a withered old pine cone!
Mrs don't forget the prawns for your feline overlords they may accept a tin of tuna as a down payment
Charlie sat next to me last night he's such a cuddly bear and he stretched out his arm with his paw spread really wide to pat my nose...it's only when the claw appeared I discovered I'd need Savlon Hmm
70 QVC have a Diamonique TSV on Thurs (Diamonique day) so it will be online from 9pm on wed. many apologies to your ccard Grin

FireflyGirl · 27/04/2020 15:27

boots I said something very similar to DSis -she loves cows, so I sent her the link Grin

Great minds...

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 15:59

It would be lovely for your DS to visit his Auntie and, ahem, "ride'em, Cowboy" on her footstool Grin
I daren't - they'd frighten Charlie he's an absolute wuss

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 16:07

bugger, posted too soon and didn't notice Blush
I was going to say...I put my big winter coat away today - and zipped the fake fur trim back around the hood...Charlie spotted it and ran away...I had to talk him out of the curtains with some dreamies and my high pitched "poor 'ickle man, are you fwightened" voice BlushGrin

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 27/04/2020 16:10

Haha Boots I would like to hear that. How long did it take to talk Charlie round?

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 16:16

Oh, only about ten minutes of my life that i could have spent ironing, so not really wasted
You know the "baby" voice that some people have...erm, it might be very much like that Grin
But then they're still both quite small and aren't 6 until Friday Grin

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 16:19

Forgot to mention he's frightened of my feather duster too...
I'm not sure if therapy would help...
Tilly is very brave, and can be relied upon to kill all spiders. I do the daft "baby" voice with her sometimes and she goes Hmm at me...

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 27/04/2020 16:28

Any time ironing is a waste of life Boots (hence my ironing pile is happily growing even though I have a few days off)

FireflyGirl · 27/04/2020 16:33

My boys are getting on a bit now - R-Cat is 11, but still thinks he's a kitten, and would probably try to kill it in case it's a rival for my affection. T-Cat is at least 18 and hates the whole world and everyone in it (except DMIL) Grin - think Henri, le Chat Noir.

Mrsmadevans · 27/04/2020 17:06

Bob's catty girls are fine Boot , plenty of Felix and tins of tuna and a half pkt of prawns Grin
Fire l must thank you for Felix aka Henri heads up it's fantastic, 'je ne regrette rien' Grin

Now look 'ere you lot Kier is mahn l tell ya all Mahn. I have a penchant for a man like him ever since l were a youngster and watched Ian Carmichael in Lord Peter Whimsey , l rest mah case ! Grin

We don't do ironing. Life is too short. We'll have to start when DD goes into juniors though as they wear shirts.

I'm very Envy of the rain. It hasn't rained for at least a month here. Bring. It. On.

I'm knackered. 6 hours of digging have half-killed me! But, plot 2 has had its first complete dig. Wooooo!

My summer bulbs are starting to poke through, which is good too.

Firefly, I love those footstools, they're ace!

Your poor nose, Boots. How is it now?

Didn't realise it was on your nose Boot poor nose, naughty Charlie !
Fluffy well done re the allotment digging m'dear Grin
It's looking splendid you have worked like a good un ! Smile

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 18:25

Mrs that explains it, I've always liked him too HmmShock
fluffy you only need to iron the collar and neck - it's all i ever did with DH when he was working.
I have some freesias poking through.
And the nose, let's just say in a certain light it is really obvious Shock ...in the dark, less so Hmm and I don't wear make-up (not since I left school) so it can't really be easily hidden.
About the footstools, they do a Shawn the Sheep lookylikey storage one which is v tempting Grin
Firefly your cat loves your DMIL? that's a first on MN Grin I play catch with Charlie he thinks he's a goalkeeper Tilly just attacks everything (including poor Charlie), maybe it's a girl thing?

Mrsmadevans · 27/04/2020 18:39

Dh just cooked me a fried eg sarnie a dl scoffed it down too quick and now l feel ick Grin
Love Ian Carmichael Boot always have always will mutter mutter Kier or Ian , Kier or Ian impossible to choose Grin

Mrsmadevans · 27/04/2020 18:40

NoWordForFluffy · 27/04/2020 18:44

Mrsmadevans · 27/04/2020 18:49

HEHE @Fluffy Grin
This is for you Boot DROOL AWAY Grin

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 18:54

fluffy how about:
"Lockdown, peaked too soon?"
or
"Lockdown, the peaky one"
I mean, we wouldn't want to get political although poor Larry has squatters back in his bijou bachelor cat pad again

NoWordForFluffy · 27/04/2020 19:41

Or 'Lockdown: Peaked'?

Definitely nothing political. 😂

Evening. Got my food delivery tonight, had already been emailed to say no dw salt (ffs) and no eggs so popped into Waitrose after work.

pussycatinboots · 27/04/2020 20:13

Mrsmadevans · 27/04/2020 20:36
