Finally half way through. I've had a week or so off again as my head wasn't in it (though it helps my mental state to do it, ironically!).

Onto the second half tomorrow!

Looks amazing fluffy!!

If I was to ever win the lottery, I would pay someone to do my hair everyday Grin

WreckTangled · 30/03/2020 07:40

Morning! The dc are still asleep. I stayed up until 12 last night to try and get a delivery slot but no such luck.

70 I would definitely use the snowman loo roll!

NoWordForFluffy · 30/03/2020 08:01

Morning! It's looking grey today, but meant to stay dry, so the towels are in the machine!

We all had a cracking night's sleep: we had about 8 hours and the kids almost-12. So I'm getting more sleep working from home! Got to look for the positives!

I rarely try for delivery, Wreck. But we aren't too far from Tesco, so if I can get C&C I'm happy! I'm going to Sainsbury's first thing tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get in at 8 when the public at large can go in. It's NHS staff for 30 minutes before that.

We can't get any click and collect either. The nearest ones are 18 miles away and I've tried three others there's just nothing.

pussycatinboots · 30/03/2020 08:31

Well, I can't say i wasn't warned about the effects of dried apricots. Grin
I can confirm that i may need to "borrow" 70s snowman Blush and that tmi warning DH and I have spent most of the last 2 hrs Shock in the loo lucky we have a bathroom each
It's such a shame as it tasted so good! I won't be making another unless either of us are properly bunged up. Blush

fluffy the church is looking really good...you might still get that one finished by easter! Smile

Tesco are confusing me.
They open at 8am, but their "reserved" hour for NHS is 9am-10am tues/thurs.
Does that mean that if you go early and you're still in a queue at 9am, you then have to stand around twiddling your trolley for an hour??
Surely it should be 8am-9am?

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/03/2020 08:43

I have rubbish thin hair :(

Bless you Boots at least you have had a good clear out Grin

Amazing cross stitch fluffy! Might dig mine out later and get to work :)

CrazyBaubles · 30/03/2020 08:47

Morning. I've been up since 6:30 - have done some yoga and am back in bed watching Six Feet Under and drinking a cup of tea.

I had some very bad news yesterday. A friend of my parents who I'd known my entire life passed away from suspected Coronavirus. Went for a nap and was found an hour later by their partner. I think I'm in shock still.

I have been following the isolation / social distancing rules but not thinking about it too much. Now I'm actively scared.

To distract myself I framed my cross stitch, sorted my yarn stash and ordered the Highland Cow Bothy Threads cross stitch I've wanted for ages. Keeping an eye out for a Christmas one too.

Fluffy yours is coming on so well, it looks lovely.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/03/2020 08:51

I'm so sorry to hear that Crazy Flowers

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/03/2020 08:54

Hmm my cross stitch needs a bit of a sort out...

crazy Flowers so sorry, sweetie.

most you give up too easily Smile track each thread and untangle it one at a time - it'll be fine but will take ages, so will keep you busy Grin

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 30/03/2020 09:20

Think I have managed to salvage this one!

Crazy that's so sad and scary how it can happen so quickly Sad

Body coach work our done.

PJMasksGhekko · 30/03/2020 10:13

So sorry to hear that Crazy, had she had any symptoms at all Sad

Well my job for today is to ring Sony up, Ds can't get onto his account, as it now requires 2 step verification, and if it's his old number, he can't get any of the codes sent!! Kids!!

CrazyBaubles · 30/03/2020 10:33

Thank you.

PJ symptoms were high temp, headache and feeling bone tired. No cough or chest tightening until Saturday evening. It's so scary.

most that beach one is the one I wanted but couldn't find it cheap enough.

I'm back in the spare room today. I sorted the bookshelves and wool stash yesterday but I put a lot of stuff that doesn't have a designated space on the bed.
There's also a small wardrobe in there I need to sort out and my Christmas stash - basically Christmas crafts & supplies, magazines, card stash and a random assortment of fairy lights / boxes that I missed when packing away the decs. I apparently have loads so I'll be busy for an hour or 4 😩

FireflyGirl · 30/03/2020 10:37

Flowers so sorry Crazy.

My hydroponics are not quite so Instagram-worthy MrsM. But they are good for fresh salad stuff.

How scary Crazy Sad Flowers

TheWoollybacksWife · 30/03/2020 11:56

Oh Crazy that's awful. My condolences.

Today's fun appears to be competitive showering. I currently hold the title of the cleanest person in the house but DS is stretching it out. He is a soap dodger though. I have said that I'm not serving lunch to anyone still wearing pyjamas and as it's bacon rolls he will eventually do as he's told.

FireflyGirl · 30/03/2020 12:10

We've done reading this morning, and DS is now playing 'The Floor is Lava'. #firstclassparenting

WreckTangled · 30/03/2020 12:16

We've been to get the veg box (what can I do with grapefruit? I can't imagine the dc will like it on its own?). Ds is drawing scary faces and watching dynasties and dd is in a strop again Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 30/03/2020 13:13

Crazy, I'm so sorry. Flowers It's scary when it's close to home, isn't it?

Most, I'd untangle those! As Boots said, it'll keep you occupied!

Boots, sorry to hear the apricots did what apricots do. 💩🤦‍♀️

Firefly, my kids play the floor lava game too. Odd little things!

Ours are playing some kind of imaginative game with the wooden food / pans. No idea what.

I'm at lunch. Going nowhere! I do have to walk to the chemist to get a prescription for my eczema later, but they have the same lunch break as me, so I'll go when I finish (they're open til 6).

Woolly, did DS shower yet?!
