Here we go again! It feels slightly bonkers setting off again before today is over, but it's tradition, so who am I to argue?!

(actually I am on the night nurse as am seeing this year out full of the snotty grotty cold)

DS starts school this September too

2019 wasn’t a great year for us either, I think it’s looking up for 2020.

DS1 started reception this year, I hate it. DD1 is in year 2 and I don’t like her growing up, I wish she was still a baby

Ds is also starting school in September. We start applying first week in January.

My appendix is still playing up but nothing compared to the pain before Christmas. I haven't been able to eat any of my lovely cheese though.

Do you think you'll end up with it out, Neros, with the anti-bs essentially getting you through Christmas (possibly the aim!)?

Not good re the cheese. We're still drowning in bloody cheese. I won't need to buy any for months!

I'm very grumpy, but because of my cold. And my IBS is playing up still, so I've had to resort to the Laxido to try to assist with matters. That makes me grumpy too!

The kids will be fine once they've slept the exhaustion off. Though DD is sleeping less than DS as she's enjoying her new books (the Worst Witch collection). She's read two since Christmas Day! She seems OK though, in the main.

We need to get to get back eating normal bloody food soon. All this out of sync eating doesn't help!

Morning! I had an early night last night so am now waiting for everybody else to wake up! I think DS is on the way to waking, thankfully.

Allotment day today. I might get everyone to go so they get out of the house for a while! They'll enjoy a bit of digging. 😂

Neros, fingers crossed re the appendix and I hope your IBS calms down soon. Mine is driving me mad. I feel so sluggish and grumpy because of it.

We've got our final day of Christmas today with dh's family. Should be good. I'm still in bed DH is asleep but the dc have been up about forty minutes. Must get up and see what havoc they're causing.

I haven't put on any weight this Christmas. I've been a bit lax with my food so pleased about that

I've not weighed myself in months. But until I manage to 💩 💩 (TMI!!) I'll be heavier as it's been over a week since the issue started now! 🙈🙈

I was up in the night because of how cold it was, I couldn’t get warm. I’ve lost weight over Christmas, I’m losing a lot of weight no matter what I eat which is annoying as I want to gain weight. I’ve ordered myself some jeans which should come today, so I’m looking forward to that.

Hope everyone is feeling better and the illnesses have done one. My Dd1 is looking after Mum for us again today she is a 🌟👏. Mum behaves much better for her than anyone else 😄

I've done 4 or so hours at the allotment, much of it digging. I dug up a fence post and put it and another I'd removed the other week, in new positions. Deep holes were dug! It still looks a bit rubbish, but I'm getting there.

Flouncy, I think it's lots of butter-rich food and not as much fruit and veg as I eat on work days. Plus I drink hot water at work which helps keep things moving!

This time of year is always a bit meh - don't want ti shop for the sake of it (and TBH , most 'sales' are a con)
There's always the feeling that I need to get all the bad out of the way before New Years Resolutions kick in .....

I have bought a shower curtain and cushions.
The Christmas decorations get taken down on NYD then we have a nice new start (though this year we don't have many because of the cats)
I'll keep the winter bedding on (it isn't particularly Christmas -DS has snowflake patterned but we flip it over to plain)

My New Year Resolution is weight loss , for health not appearance . It would improve things no end to lose the middle which is where I store it .
So , more lists will be written.

sounds horrible but Mum loves them from Matalan, a cat fleecy blanket for Dd1 and some jewelry for Dd1 birthday in March and some Spode Christmas sugar tea and coffee tins for me 😂 will take pics and show you

Nero, l would want to Get rid of the blinking thing before it starts again. Of course, they may do things differently than they used to and they may treat it with Abs successfully these days . I must read up on it my interest has been picqued 🤗 hope you are feeling much better 💐
Fluffy well done on all the digging, did you harvest anything today? Dd1 is an absolute darling. She has been at Mum's for hours yesterday and today and I and DH and my DM are so grateful to her. 🤗

I don't do resolutions really. I need to lose a little weight (no more than 5-7lb) but I need to get going with the allotments, so they'll sort me out with all the digging and lugging! I've been slack since I was ill in September.

I'm hopefully going to be working 10 in 9 from next month (just need management sign off), which will help with having a bit more time to get stuff done.

70, we'll keep the Christmas bedding too.

I need to sort stuff out to sell too. We've loads of stuff which needs to be gone!

We were with the dc but pil's were there for back up. Dd was fine ds had his moment but there were some naughtier other boys there (step cousins I suppose) who were worse so that's something my secret Santa was alcohol related and as I don't drink anymore I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself especially as me and DH didn't do gifts this year.

Thank you Cish l try to get things when l see them , like we all do l suppose. The duvet cover is for a single bed , l bought DD2 the same duvet set ,a king size for her when she has her own place because she asked me for it for Christmas . DD1 saw it and loved it too so when we change to single duvets in Spring she can put it on then. it's not really a Christmas duvet but it does work at Christmas as well as any time. I love it too but l forsook it for my DD2 , the things a Mumma has to do for their DC
