Thank you @Unihorn for the title.

Sneezein3s- I would probably club anyone who did that round the head with the other bit.

Returns to happy Christmassy thoughts....

Sneezein3s · 10/12/2019 20:31

@margaritas the thought has crossed my mind Grin

dramalamma · 10/12/2019 20:34

@MsJuniper they had twisty petz in our branch of home bargains for about £5 if I remember rightly (definitely much less than £15 anyhow!)

Kittywampus · 10/12/2019 20:47

@EachandEveryone I ordered the insoles too, they are too thick to go in any of my shoes, but they do fit inside my slippers and have made them feel lovely and warm. I also ordered a pair for my dd and they fit inside some wellies that she has in a size too big.

Does anyone know if they can be washed?

Jacopone · 10/12/2019 20:49

I’m also finished like many of you, and like many strangely captivated by unfolding hampergeddon.
Also, wondering - I can’t be the only person who loves wrapping presents? It took me recently solid 4 hours (Rapesco tape always) but the end result gave me such a pleasure. I’m actually sad I have nothing left to wrap. Perhaps I could squeeze one or two more bargains...

Notlongnow1 · 10/12/2019 20:56

Only gone and bought a raclette!

Code RXMAS15 takes a fiver off a £25 spend at Robert Dyas so got another stocking filler too.

recklessgran · 10/12/2019 21:07

My darling DH has just arrived home with 3 raclettes. I am ridiculously pleased with him not least because he is taking part in Christmas at last. He found them on his world tour of Aldi stores - he's a proper Father Christmas now. Yippee!! [They weigh a ton on account of the hot stone I think.] Off to get on with the wrapping now.

princessbear80 · 10/12/2019 21:13

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts something else you DM and partner might like, if they like baklava, is melomakarona (I think that’s how you spell it!). They’re Greek honey cookies/cakes traditionally eaten at Christmas, and are delicious. Christmas isn’t Christmas without them at our house. You can buy them in a Greek grocers/bakery.

OdeToAutumn · 10/12/2019 21:16

Does anyone have a Space NK code please ?

RickOShay · 10/12/2019 21:29

I’ve been a bit busy, and missed hampergeddon, I have actually ordered one for my nephew, could somebody kindly explain what’s happened and if there’s any chance I could get my money back, I can’t remember the name of the company!
Thank you.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 10/12/2019 21:29

imsorryiasked thank you will grab some popcorn I forgot they liked that and maybe see if I can find a good film! princess not sure I have a greek bakery near me, I found the baklava in Lidl (will be a real treat, my sister is allergic to nuts so normally a nut free household!!) I'm thinking some mistletoe - can you buy it as a plant?? they are both very soppy so they'd probably like that!

dementedma · 10/12/2019 21:32

Good Food magazine currently has an offer to subscribe for 5 issues for £5. Normally £4.90 an issue.
Go to buy subscriptions.com/GFT1219

Maranello · 10/12/2019 21:35

@OdeToAutumn, I can't see any active codes for Space NK (they email me every other day, it seems!) but I do have a friend referral that would give you £10 off a £40 order, if you're spending that much. I think I get the same. Let me know if that would be useful and I can PM you or put it on the referral thread.

Joules has 25% off with code MANIC25.

And a cheeky request: I'd been waiting for my Cox & Cox wrapping paper to arrive in the hope there would be a Boden voucher in there, but no luck! If anyone has a £15 off £30 spend they won't be using, I'd be so grateful if you could PM me. I'm never quick enough to get the ones posted on here Smile

OdeToAutumn · 10/12/2019 21:40

@Maranello thank you for the offer. Someone sent me a referral code and I did get £10 off as was spending £40.

It works very quickly so if anyone else is looking at products then it’s a good saving.

MsJuniper · 10/12/2019 21:50

Thanks @dramalamma and @DaisyChops - will try HB and Argos!

princessbear80 · 10/12/2019 21:51

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts I did wonder if it wasn’t going to be possible. I live in north London so I have plenty of choices. I think you can get mistletoe in garden centres - it’s a lovely idea.

Billyandemily · 10/12/2019 22:02

I recieved my Cox and cox wrapping paper yesterday was hoping for a boden code too but wasn't one 😪

lazzaroo · 10/12/2019 22:04

Please, please, please does anyone have a unidays code or other discount for Nike.com? I need to order a pair of shorts and the thought of spending £40 on them is giving me a headache!!

suneetime · 10/12/2019 22:04

Thanks for the Good Food link dementedma. Just subscribed. Really must stop buying things for myself from this thread. It’ll cancel out all the money saved from the bargains!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 10/12/2019 22:12

I need to catch up. Love the thread title. Gavin and Stacey is my absolute favourite.

DaisyChops · 10/12/2019 22:12

@MsJuniper I also got the set from H&B but its the bracelet set (can't remember how many in the set), it's still a good price but it's not the big cuddles one, I was going to go to Smyths but they've all gone out of stock by me

PoopaPoopa · 10/12/2019 22:13

God I’m such a sheep. I’m vegan and tempted to buy a raclette 😂

Fridayfun · 10/12/2019 22:13

We love a raclette evening here too. We generally use gouda and comte. And have brie and cheddar on the side too. Any toppings that work on a pizza tend to go well. With lots of bread and steamed baby potatoes.

MsJuniper · 10/12/2019 22:15

@DaisyChops Oh yes he wants the cuddles one. I will try Argos tomorrow and see if they have any sloths in stock. Thanks Smile

EachandEveryone · 10/12/2019 22:26

What happened to the hampers from Scotland, arent they coming?

I wouldnt dare was those sheepskin insoles they are falling appart every time i touch them.
