I'd buy it, especially if it's too of her list. If it was £50, I'd think about it but main present £22, id definitely buy it

Would totally buy it! Some of my favourite childhood gifts were plastic tat I just know my mum and dad hated buying!

Thanks for the b&m tip scoleah I’ll have a look (and see if any Xmas bargains if the locusts have left anything 🤣)

I’d consider what she already has and if she’s genuinely miss it on the day or if she’ll forget all about it. Not much help I know!! Depends on budget if other things in list been bought etc. My 6yr old has two things on list so got both (and extras surprises) if she’s a big list tempted to ignore. If she’s only got that and few other reasonable priced things I’d get it. Is it really too young for a 6 year old?! I have a son so different interests but I find it little sad id that’s viewed as too young for a 6 year old Confused

I would buy it, I remember how much I wanted a rabbit toy that cried when I was small, probably total tat but I loved that rabbit so much 🤣.

Help!

Last minute need for a shoehorn! No idea where I can buy them other than IKEA (too far away) or a cobbler (only likely to have cheap plastic one). I think I'd be pushing it to buy online as it probably won't arrive on time

Ideally needs to be a short one but if needs must it can be a longer one. Hoping there might be some nice wooden ones or something somewhere?

Smyths have got some stock of Pictionary Air back in. Not all stores, but I've just picked up one from Salisbury for £19.99 click & collect. We've had a play already. Pretty good family game for when people are too lazy to sit round a table to play a board game.

Pharmacies, especially the independent slightly old fashioned ones, sell shoe horns. They probably won’t be fancy ones though.

The MLP toy I’d definitely buy if the budget ran to it. I’ve been reading the thread about disappointing your child at Christmas though Grin .

Thank you for the shoe horn tips.

Pavers sounds like a good possibility if they have wooden ones.

Can I just ask when do I cancel the magazine subscriptions. I have 2 with Hearst and the radio times fron goodness knows where!

I’m still waiting on a zavvi order made in the 29th Nov. I messaged them last week and they got back to me on Monday saying they would look into it and get back to me within 5 working days. It’s cutting it a bit fine!

I got a nice wee hamper in Dobbies today. A lot of them had 20% off.

So ds3 aged 6 has asked for Pokemon cards today and won't stop asking about them. He said he needs to write an emergency extra letter to Santa. I have nectar points to use so no big deal. But when I typed in Pokemon cards to the Argos search bar so many options came up. Which ones are the right ones??

I found a shoehorn in a local gift store. It was a metal expanding one essentially for the gift market. Wouldn’t be somewhere I’d think of looking but if you have one might be worth a look.
