Thank you @Unihorn for the title.

Ahh cross posted, slithytove Mine aren't quite as ornate as the ones you're after. Sorry! Still, might make a nice little stocking filler for someone else.

TheGriffle · 18/12/2019 19:22

I thought I’d ask on here as I feel silly I don’t know and you guys are my friendly Christmas people!

When the hell do I give dd’s their letter from Santa?! I’ve not done one before! Do I put them in their Christmas Eve boxes?

TIA!

sorryiasked · 18/12/2019 19:24

@user137473 tkmaxx

BlueOooChristmas · 18/12/2019 19:34

What's the best deal on a Switch Lite? I'm tempted to treat myself.

CharlieWeasley · 18/12/2019 19:47

Ahh Givealittlebit don't worry. Its not your fault. I'm sure it'll all be lovely when it gets here!

dancemom · 18/12/2019 19:48

@user137473 scroll back there was a chillies offer posted earlier today

slithytove · 18/12/2019 20:02

@Freeekedout I’ve ordered 3 pairs 😂 thank you

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 18/12/2019 20:05

Did someone post a baby yoda plush? I’m sure I saw one but didn’t buy and now can’t even find a picture of the one I thought I’d seen.

Unihorn · 18/12/2019 20:20

So I deliberated for too long on the multiple Spode offers over the past few months as I wasn't sure we were hosting Christmas dinner. We are now officially hosting for 8 adults and 2 children so are in need of plateware! Had a quick browse this afternoon but everything seems obscenely overpriced. I can get to most normal person shops Grin and have Amazon Prime. We have normal plain white plates but fancied something a bit nicer.

LiverbirdNo1 · 18/12/2019 20:22

Probably completely missed the boat but if anyone still has Boden code I would be very grateful! Just realised there’s a perfect t-shirt to get DS for our surprise trip on the Jacobite next year!

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 18/12/2019 20:34

Another one where I can't testify to quality but the reviews are good and it seems to be significantly reduced. Good for Harry Potter fans:

J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World: Movie Magic Volume One: Extraordinary People and Fascinating Places https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1406376094/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_aOO-DbA80QXZA

wineoclockthanks · 18/12/2019 21:03

@TheGriffle Our letters from Santa arrived on the doormat while we were eating in the kitchen! We knew they were really from Santa as they had official North Pole stamps (which took bloody hours to design!)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 18/12/2019 21:21

@Unihorn I don’t think I’d rush to buy a whole dinner service now- you’ll probably get something that is OK but you’ll wish you’d got what you wanted. If I were you, I’d either use your white and add lots of colour with accessories/napkins etc or maybe buy a bowl or plate in a different contrast to white. Here are some pics to show what I mean.

Does anyone have any table centerpiece ideas or recommendations? Thanks

thaegumathteth · 18/12/2019 22:02

This seems a good deal

margaritasbythesea · 18/12/2019 22:06

Im struggling with mine too Muss Marple. I can make a pretty good wreath by hand and I have a pillar candle but i nee something to put the whole thing on and something to put the candle in and I can't find anything suitable for either.

Unihorn · 18/12/2019 22:46

NaturalBlondeYeahRight great ideas thanks. Now I'm off to lose myself in the Pinterest world of centrepieces and table settings..

Winterwarmer21 · 18/12/2019 23:28

Does anyone have experience with amazon when a price goes down the day After you have ordered?

I ordered yesterday and the item was delivered today and it has decreased by £20 today. I contacted them and they said to return it and order it again at the new price and they would cover the return. I’m shocked that this is their answer? Seems like a complete waste of delivery and return costs.

RagingBall · 18/12/2019 23:29

Anyone seen any good deals on Elemis products please?

catanddogmake6 · 19/12/2019 00:35

@Winterwarmer21 I had the same response recently even though I repeatedly pointed out the environmental cost and the cost to their business. Was daft but for £10 I did it.

PrettyPurpleFeather · 19/12/2019 05:49

@margaritasbythesea Lidl had lots of candle plates for under £2 & so does Wilko and hobby craft. Although hobby craft is not bargainous like Aldi and Wilko.

CupoTeap · 19/12/2019 06:18

Arabella - thank you thank is hilarious

@Spartonian totally starting to panic now

Going RL shopping at the weekend to finish of plus stocking fillers dash round B&M

margaritasbythesea · 19/12/2019 06:46

PrettyPurpleFeather - thanks for that. Ill have a closer look in Lidl. We live un rural Wales so these others wonders of which you tell me are out of reach (with Christmas posting). Id assumed id just walk into a shop and find something.

The thought of making the table decoration is the only thing that's been holding me off a spode purchase!

MyEnormousTurnip · 19/12/2019 06:53

Just had my first cup of tea from my gorgeous Spode. I did a fanfare as I walked out of the kitchen with it and the dc didn’t even crack a smile Sad

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/12/2019 06:57

@Unihorn we have this one from b&m. It's been around for years but I've not been in a shop to see if they have it this year. £1 an item
