Thank you @Unihorn for the title.

Not a bargain (but free) if anyone uses the Waze app - which is excellent satnav app - download the Santa voice, it's hilarious!

It warned me of some police at a roundabout "Now, watch out! Police around the corner and you don't want to be put on the naughty list" Grin

dizzygirl1 · 18/12/2019 06:19

Does anyone know of any bargain Sound bars? Looking for one for DH and a little last minute 😒

SomethingOfTheNight · 18/12/2019 06:59

I could really do with some ideas for 'stuff' for my 14 yr old technology loving ds. His main gift is sorted but his sister's stockings are looking much fuller than his Confused. Any thoughts greatly appreciated; £10-£20 ideally. Also; recommendations for best curling 'irons' please. Thank you Xmas Smile

Dolphintrainer · 18/12/2019 07:46

@SomethingOfTheNight Here’s some ideas of things I’ve bought my 16 year old DS in recent years as stocking fillers:

White sports socks - Nike Adidas
Travel card holder (may not be relevant)
Boot buddy
Pack of charging cables in various lengths colour coded so they can’t steel yours
Travel neck cushion
Scratch map if you have travelled a little
Other scratch map - eg 100 greatest movies etc
Chocolate orange 😬

sorryiasked · 18/12/2019 08:02

@SomethingOfTheNight
Magazine
Popcorn / Crisps / Pringles
Cushion / throw
Chocolate games controller
Mug

ArabellaPilkington · 18/12/2019 08:10

@SomethingOfTheNight

Flat phone tripod card thingy
Personalised Toblerone
Nando's gift card
Harry's razor
Body spray
Bulldog skin care

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 18/12/2019 08:26

Debenhams lost me when their two pack of school shorts were cheaper than the single pack of 'girls' school shorts. Looked like the same shorts to me.

Spartonian · 18/12/2019 08:32

@SomethingOfTheNight
M&S has mini remote drones and hand controlled hover things in the sale.

Dogmatix34 · 18/12/2019 08:58

Twitched and got these for DS- can apparently be controlled by the new Alexa I also got him

winewolfhowls · 18/12/2019 09:06

Does anyone know if b and q will put outdoor lights right down on price before Christmas, I'm after some outdoor Xmas lights, quite bright.

gladyoucame · 18/12/2019 09:15

My B&Q has Christmas lights reduced at the weekend but there wasn't a lot of stock left on the shelves.

PinkJam · 18/12/2019 09:27

@weebarra Yes, I find the same. The stores are quite dingy and a lot of the branded stuff is so overpriced. Their customer service though is shockingly bad and it will be that that is their main downfall. I have also dealt with Next and Schuh for problem orders this month and they have dealt with it quickly and no problem at all. Schuh sent me a replacement item out the same day I contacted them without even waiting for me to send the wrong item which is how it should be. Obviously I then did return the wrong item, but at least I wasn’t out of pocket in the meantime. Debenhams in contrast have put all the onus on me to sort the issue out.

PinkJam · 18/12/2019 09:30

Hi, does anyone know of a free delivery code for Disney Store please?

RJnomore1 · 18/12/2019 09:37

Ooh that’s good to know about Morphe, it did not come up as as a stockist when I was googling for UK sellers.

Did you say you were charged taxes from beauty bay? I managed to get a mirror and a lipgloss from them with no import tax, just assumed they were UK, must just have been lucky!

Purpletigers · 18/12/2019 09:45

The Lego r2d2 coding robot set is reduced to £100 in Argos and then a further 10% off with Lego10. Its usually around the £180 mark so an absolute bargain .

CoffeeAndEnnui · 18/12/2019 09:57

Members have early access to H&M's up to 50% off sale today and an additional 10% off prices. Check your inboxes for the invitation. There are some nice bargains on festive clothes BUT...just like last time the extra traffic is making the site super glitchy and infuriating!

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 18/12/2019 11:01

Not sure how good these are but Amazon have a lightning deal on these Bluetooth headphones. Am getting them for DS to go with his iPad:

Rydohi Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Over Ear, Hi-Fi Stereo Headset with Deep Bass, Foldable and Lightweight, Wired and Wireless Modes Built in Mic for Cell Phones, TV, PC and Traveling (Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07C2KV5M5/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_0BG-Db7H1H8WM

YuleAreBeingUnREASTIEable · 18/12/2019 11:06

Sad about the book people. I don’t think Debenhams will last much longer and I’m not sure about Laura Ashley too. There’s always a sale and it’s never busy.

ArabellaPilkington thank you for the Waze tip. I've just downloaded Santa's voice. That'll surprise them.

NowWeSuckingDiesel · 18/12/2019 11:35

Still nothing from The Cocktail man, is anyone else missing an order from November?! No reply to emails eother

Spartonian · 18/12/2019 12:22

Anyone else in a slight panic about everything they still need to do?

Dangerfloof · 18/12/2019 12:49

I stupidly ordered a fair amount of chocolate as last minute gifts for various people who will pop up in the next week.
Not thinking at all it's for delivery this Saturday coming, but I need some of it today. Or I trek to someones house after its been delivered. Kicking myself, I could have had any day delivery too.
Nuts.

TheGriffle · 18/12/2019 13:43

@Spartonian me! All my presents are still hidden around my house and garage, I’ve not had chance to even get anything out and make sure I’ve got enough let alone wrap any of it! Plus once it’s wrapped it can’t be stuffed back into all my hidey holes so I’m having to think of where things can go.
