Thought I'd start a thread over here as to not overrun the bargain thread.

I have ordered two. One being diabetic, I will admit I did think it a bit strange that there were no individual diabetic items on the site. Saying that, I am crossing my fingers hoping it will arrive.

If anyone has any updates, refund actually back in back/orders received 🤞 please post here.

I sent a request for refund last night. Did any of you get confirmation that it was being processed? I've heard nothing.

Yes Starry please tell us!! There are local people on social media now saying that businesses in Oban and Fort William have been damaged by HGC. More than one poster has now stated that they have called the police.

@marchingonwithmother can't dispute till it's been a certain amount of days since placing the original orders.

It is very annoying to have a pm me for the details post, sorry. If you have info that would affect whether people request a refund/do a charge back or wait, it seems against the point of the thread to not say what it is.

I'm copying and pasting starrynight's pm to me, hope that's ok. Saves the speculation ramping up and to be fair, it's not anything we didn't know already.

Yeah I PM'ed for info but it was info that we already knew (apart from owing money to DPD - hadn't heard that one prior)

I now can't see any posts on there Facebook? Everything was there at 7 this morning. Anyone else noticed this?

I'm going to request a refund now before they disappear completely. How have those who have received refunds requested this. Email or Facebook?

Everything has gone, I've been going in via my Sisters FB as I'm blocked.

I requested my refund by email, they sent confirmation within a few hours and the money was back in my account the next day

The Facebook page was all well and good at half 11 (I was snooping for drama on my tea break at work!)

Everything has disappeared from Facebook other than a post telling you how to get a refund.
I'm glad someone had informed the police. Big impact on small local businesses when something like this happens.

Just wondered how marching on found that info and it was stupidly easy... put his surname and city into fb search, out pops his sister’s profile, he’s on her friends list and his post (and photos of the child) are public.

I’m detailing this in case someone who knows them is reading and can warn them to remove his post.

If anyone else finds it before then, please do not post it as a little boy is pictured in his post.

Sorry for people who haven't received their hampers but I don't think it's fair to drag his sister in if she didn't have anything to do with it.

I emailed via their website. I've just sent them a Facebook message asking for confirmation that they will process the refund.

A question for those who've used chargeback, I looked on the MasterCard website and it said that this is only available for purchases over £100 - I didn't spend this much (but still want a refund!)

I just tried to message and I got a message that they "weren't available" is it working for anyone else?

I feel so stupid for falling for it.

I wouldn't post anyone else's pictures, however they are clearly happy for the little boy to be publicly on social media and I do not think this little con artist deserves his privacy if he's stupid enough to post that
