Thought I'd start a thread over here as to not overrun the bargain thread.

I have ordered two. One being diabetic, I will admit I did think it a bit strange that there were no individual diabetic items on the site. Saying that, I am crossing my fingers hoping it will arrive.

If anyone has any updates, refund actually back in back/orders received 🤞 please post here.

MPORTANT UPDATE
The decision has been made today that Highland Gift Company is to cease trading with immediate effect.
To All Customers with outstanding orders, your payments have been refunded and will show on your statement within 3-5 days. The refunds have been processed on our side and we have no control over the time it takes the receiving bank to process.
To all our genuine customers, we are deeply sorry for letting you down with your orders. We have tried our hardest to dispatch as many orders as we can but with all the recent issues we have had, it was clear we would not be able to fulfil every order in time.
To all the negative Nancy's, keyboard warriors and people who decided to start posting on our page without ever dealing with the company: You have mentioned many times that our business was a "scam", yet all our customers have been or are being refunded in full. We are sorry that this doesn't fit in to your narrative.
To any supplier who has an outstanding invoice, please send a copy of the invoice to [email protected] and we will clear it as quickly as we can.

Ceased trading... It'd be funny if it wasn't so expected..

They are so full of shit, as of last Thursday they had dispatched over 50% of their orders 🙄 People will believe them and blame it on those of us that saw what was really going on.

What a surprise... 🙄

Sorry guys I am in work and have done my best to reply to everyone. I didn’t want to post on here as it isn’t fair on the lady who sent it me.
As we see they aren’t genuine and when I just commented on their latest post I got blocked immediately.
Hope everyone gets their money back.

It's ridiculous. There are still people defending them on Facebook, wishing them well and blaming the negative posters for bringing the company down. What a shambles.

How do you claim through a chargeback?

Just received the ‘ceased trading’ email.... I did ask for a refund last night so not sure where that puts me in the queue!

I got a refund the other day but I cancelled my card so I’m wondering how they were actually able to refund since my card was cancelled.

I’m wondering what exactly the scam may be as it clearly isn’t to steal the money originally paid. I don’t see the point of it all?

My email says everyone has had their unfulfilled order cancelled and all referrals initiated their end and take few days to appear in the bank

I emailed to cancel this morning - will wait and see if I get a refund, if not it looks like I should be able to do a chargeback via my bank.

I’m baffled by this. Can only assume it’s a scam but what a weird one!

This is so strange. Watching with interest as I almost placed an order. The only thing I can think of is an elaborate identity theft exercise but that seems unlikely.

I've managed to get blocked from commenting on the page now... Just for pointing out that no orders were dispatched.

Outnumbered I wondered if you were someone from here 😂. I noticed your posts disappeared from there. They’re are still trying to keep hold of their reputation - I expect that whole post will disappear soon or at least the ability to comment on it. The way people are so blindly supportive is ridiculous!

I asked for a refund yesterday, it is in my account now.

Really sorry for anyone who has not yet received their refund. Hopefully you'll have it in the next day or so. Still very odd. I've reported them to Action Fraud on the advice of a police officer friend. It still makes me uneasy that I don't understand what has gone on, and I feel like I've been scammed, despite having my money back.

So if we haven't requested a refund yet will it happen automatically now?

My laptop has crashed and I I ordered the hamper using my laptop email so can't access my order number.

I had not requested a refund yet. Just noticed the email saying everyone will be refunded, checked my bank account and it's there already.

I emailed yesterday requesting a refund. Haven't heard, no money yet.
If I click on the order link it still says 'order confirmed'.
I'm not holding out for my £12.

Tried to cancel and got ceased traditional email. Contacted bank who have raised a dispute but can't guarantee a refund. Serves me right for playing hamper chicken!
