Thought I'd start a thread over here as to not overrun the bargain thread.

I have ordered two. One being diabetic, I will admit I did think it a bit strange that there were no individual diabetic items on the site. Saying that, I am crossing my fingers hoping it will arrive.

If anyone has any updates, refund actually back in back/orders received 🤞 please post here.

Could some let me know the email address the order comes from? I can’t for the life of find anything from them but i’m sure I completed my order!

Are everyone's refunds via PayPal? I paid on card. I haven't asked for a refund yet, don't know why as it's pretty clear they haven't posted any hampers!

Why have the press/tv not picked this up? I want a presenter round to the flat asking probing questions about drugs and good to homeless shelters.

From reading back over their posts, they had roughly 2,500 hampers.
Going by peoples order numbers, which are in the 5000 range.
I would guess they are refunding as they don't have enough stock and are quite grateful for the cancelled orders.

Of all the threads the newspapers could pick up they miss hampergate. The one where thousands of MNetters get scammed into ordering fake hampers by a 19 year old drug dealer.

I'm not asking for a refund even though it's now clear that nothing is forthcoming. I'll do a chargeback if they disappear and nothing turns up.

And the sad thing is that people seem so adamant in their support for this strange little "company" that they'll probably blame the "keyboard warriors" for their demise and let them keep the money as a Xmas gift 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Oh dear, now it’s looking worrying. No website, no email address (just sent an email and it gets returned as not a registered email address), Facebook page has now had all but one post removed and I expect that one to go soon too. I’ve messaged on Facebook to ask for a refund while the page is still up but I’m not holding out much hope now for anything at all from them. Looking like we’ll need to go down the chargeback route after all now maybe. Will update you if I hear anything but am not holding my breath!

The website is now back up and running. I still don't understand why they don't just disappear if there are no hampers.

I am totally intrigued by it all. Good news is that it has stopped me from twitching as I am keeping my fingers busy tapping over here.

If they just disappear everyone will do a chargeback. It costs them £15.00 a time on top of the money. After 120 days you can't do a chargeback so it's in their interest to hang around and look plausible/hard done by as long as they can

Hmmm...all very odd indeed! I’ve had an email response to my Facebook messages already, confirming my refunds. Will hope I’m wrong and that the money will be forthcoming like it has been for others!

I've also had confirmation mine has been refunded which I requested early hours. Will wait and see now. I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed anything in the hamper now anyway!!

See they are ignoring my message asking them to confirm if dpd is delivering the stock Hmm

I honestly do t think they had any intention of delivering a hamper. Refunding the odd few customers stops everyone else getting twitchy.

Funny how someone has come on today to say they won a hamper off them a few weeks ago and was called out asking why they didn’t mention that previously when they were telling everyone not to worry.

Some sort of money laundering or loan am sure of it. Hopefully refunds will start turning up in people’s banks soon.

Someone spoke to DPD who have confirmed they aren't customers. There were 100+ comments in the early hours. All now duly deleted of course Grin

Have you read some of the comments that 'the company' have made in reply. One of them says I'm calling BS on that Pauline?! They have constantly sounded professional previously but the latest replies to people perhaps show true colours!

I think they are just overwhelmed with orders, understaffed and trying to keep everyone up to date with what's going on.

I'm playing the long game and refuse to give up hope for now anyway
