Thought I'd start a thread over here as to not overrun the bargain thread.

I have ordered two. One being diabetic, I will admit I did think it a bit strange that there were no individual diabetic items on the site. Saying that, I am crossing my fingers hoping it will arrive.

If anyone has any updates, refund actually back in back/orders received 🤞 please post here.

@TwistedAnkle check your bank, my refund has just gone in and I had not requested one.
It was automaticity done by the company.

Apparently it would appear this has been a large interest free loan. They have then profited from the loan substantially hence paying everyone back. By doing what one can only imagine.
They were in the process of buying some hotels , Lochside hotels. Poaching other staff from other businesses etc
And yes it was him who someone linked the newspaper report to yesterday

Sadly not in my bank account. I checked first then called bank to see if it was pending which it wasn't so they suggested raising the dispute

No refund here despite asking so contacted credit card company who will refund within 48 hours and then chase the company. If they do refund I'll contact credit card company myself. Think the saying if it looks too good to be true it probably is applies here. Have sorted out two alternative gifts now anyway.

I have now been blocked by them on fb for questioning someone who was still fighting their corner. I suggested that the money had been used for illegal activity and low and behold all my posts have disappeared! How do I do charge back? Can it be done for a debit card?

I just phoned card company and was put through to disputes and was told it would be refunded within 48 hours and they would chase company. Thought it better to do it now rather than waiting on their good will.

I messaged hgc on fb, and said I would rather a refund promptly than go down the chargeback route and have received a full refund for one order, awaiting refund for £30.
If it doesn't appear tomorrow then I will contact the bank.

I'm wondering why my bank said I have to provide written evidence and complete a form they're posting to me and I might still not get my money back. Anyone had different service from Santander and can offer advice?

I've been blocked from posting too! So I'll let the banks do what they can.

I bank with Monzo which is an online bank and notifies me of any activity - I had a notification flash up earlier that I had been refunded despite not asking for one so I’m hopeful for everyone receiving one. I know the high street banks spend time processing things so fingers crossed for you all x

I paid by a pre paid MasterCard, despite not requesting a refund it's been refunded and is showing as available to spend. So I'm sure all your refunds are on the way! Now where to get another bargain hamper!

Requested a refund on Monday, and received it in my account today... burying my head in the sand to not think about what we've all funded...

Iirc the original post for hgc on these threads said they had received a full priced hamper and subsequently been sent the £12 hamper code. Was that them posting on here?

I am pretty sure that the person defending them on fb was them. I posted my comment, with in other replies, and less than a minute later I was blocked. It seems hard to believe they stumbled across my post in that time.

My refund I requested yesterday has just gone back onto my credit card

Renovirgin I am sure lots of those ‘poor you’ posts on Facebook are them.
Then they are blocking everyone else.
Hopefully they will refund all the suppliers and delivery company’s to.
