Thank you @luckiestgirl for the title which came from her post which I’ve copied below

‘I twitched on the moles.
And the Clinique
And at body shop (30% off)
And at love honey (I got £20 off)
And I’ve somehow bought an 8 foot Christmas tree.
And lights
And a TV.
And a fitness tracker.
And stocking fillers for the kids.

Oh god, stop me now please‘

I was wrapping presents last night and realised ds 1 doesn't have many things to open. (Hes had a xmas tree and going to see father xmas tomorrow etc).

I could do with a few ideas for small things that can keep him occupied for a long time (staying at father in laws over christmas not exactly todfler friendly).

Thanks

Ijustwantoweardungarees . I use nail polish remover or magic eraser

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 07/12/2019 21:57

Many thanks for the label-removing tips! Will give it a go tomorrow. Still cross that I need to though - why on earth do they stick them on with superglue?!

imsorryiasked · 07/12/2019 22:03

@lancslass17 how about this or or this

This looks like a good coffee machine deal

@thaegumathteth, I bought one yesterday in TKmaxx and then went into Asda where they’d been reduced to £3.50. I know it was only £1.50 but it was very annoying!

Youvegotafriendinme · 07/12/2019 22:32

@ LyraSilvertongueBelacqua I’m sorry, I misread it. I’ll keep my eyed peeled for you

Dogmatix34 · 07/12/2019 22:50

My highland gift company was refunded within 5 minutes about 10 minutes ago. They seem very keen to refund everyone. Haven’t checked its in my bank yet though!

Notlongnow1 · 07/12/2019 22:59

Just going through screenshots I'd taken to look at things and found @thehollyandtheironys Turtledove London recomendation and referral.

They now have surprise boxes with 5 items for £35 but had 30% off. Following success of my smafolk bag I thought I'd chance this too! I bought a skirt in the sale for £10 to make it up to over £30 for free shipping. With discount on both it came to just over £31. Look forward to my surprise! If I can figure out how I will put a referral code on too lol

SleeptightDaisy · 07/12/2019 23:12

Playmobil website has lots of items with 35% off including the school

@lancslass17 just turned 1 or an older 1? My daughter is 18 months and has just started being fascinated by playdoh, kinetic sand and crayons, and stopped trying to eat them. We've got her some simple wooden puzzles, a xylophone, magic water book and a Happyland set.

weebarra · 07/12/2019 23:28

I'm doing this again! DS2 is still in hospital. He's probably going to get out just before Xmas. He is so bored and his switch is a godsend. I'm looking for older kid sticker books - he's always loved the usborne ones but I think he's a bit old for them now.

friskybivalves · 07/12/2019 23:52

Another good Xmas wrapping top for big/awkward shaped presents is to buy some Xmas pudding bin liners. I used one for DS's bike last year and it was fabulous. Sturdy enough not to rip and looked v cute.

friskybivalves · 07/12/2019 23:53

tip. Not top.

tabbycat985 · 08/12/2019 00:00

Fisher Price School house is a really great deal on Amazon right now at £16. Seems to be the cheapest price ever on Camelcamelcamel!

Themazeoflife · 08/12/2019 00:39

weebarra

How about one of the album sticker books you buy in newsagents, you could buy him a pack of stickers to do each day as something to look forward too.

BubbleTravel · 08/12/2019 01:16

Smiggle seem to have some pretty decent offers at the moment, up to 60% off section, a section with all 50% off and 20% off site wide and In store.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 08/12/2019 02:44

weebarra my dds are 11 and 7. they love scratch art sets and origami books and spend ages doing them. or my eldest got a blank comic book to draw her own comics which has gone down very well from her birthday 😁

PrettyPurpleFeather · 08/12/2019 03:51

I find Tinc advent calendars and stationery to be better value than smuggle. Their calendars are now reduced to £15 in the sale.

LikeSilentRaindrops · 08/12/2019 04:44

Has anybody got any suggestions for stocking fillers for an about to turn 1yo?

Just did my sorting of presents and realised DD2’s pile is both very small and very functional eg mini inflatable swimming pool - could do with some cheap, little bits for her to play with!

Zillaindie · 08/12/2019 06:58

Toddler stocking fillers,
The pound shop have a set of bath toy stacking cups that my DTs are still loving a year later.
Also Home Bargains have some ok Christmas board books for 79p I have picked up for this year.

studentvera · 08/12/2019 07:29

Does anyone have an m and s code they could pm me please?

PinkJam · 08/12/2019 08:00

Molton Brown have free standard delivery on everything

hoopdeloop · 08/12/2019 08:02

Need some help from you lovely lot. It’s my classes’ Christmas party and I need to get prizes, I need 2xboys and 2xgirls for £3.50 a prize. The kids are 11 and apart from Fortnite I have no idea what’s cool!

imsorryiasked · 08/12/2019 08:25

@weebarra how about some rubdown scenes as a change? Take a bit longer then peeling stickers?
Otherwise search Amazon for "sticker books for adults" eg this geometric one. (Careful on delivery dates - some are 1-2 mths)
