Thank you @TheGriffle for the title. Lots of mole whacking will be going on over Christmas thanks to this thread!

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Oh @flooredbored that ark advent calendar is just lovely, again mine are too old! x

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 04/12/2019 09:48

Does anyone know how long amazon take to apply promotion credit? Ordered the £50 voucher to get £6 promo but it's not coming off my order as it's inferring it will?

Dogmatix34 · 04/12/2019 09:52

@hiredandsqueak
It was the real coffee bag company. The tins are lovely!

Lc2006 · 04/12/2019 09:58

@GirlWithTheYellowHat think mine took around 2 days

Junobug · 04/12/2019 10:18

@lancslass17 I've used beer 52 a couple of times. I emailed to cancel and although they did offer to defer or discount, they were happy enough to cancel. They now occasionally send me offers for one off cases that I take them up on.
I wouldn't say we've had any amazing beers but they've all been ones we wouldn't normally try which I suppose is the point and for 50p a can, they are worth having in the house for when you have unexpected guests.

I think I have almost finished, keep finding other people I need to buy for. Thanks for the ebay Joules link, managed to buy a couple gifts and some much needed slipper boots for myself. Went to Asda this morning to buy their bath bombs, lip scrubs and soaps for stockings (3 for 2 and much cheaper than lush).

Just realised I have no idea where the dd’s stockings are so may need to buy new ones 😭 or maybe I could use something else?

Also looking for cutetitos (burrito pets?), saw them in Home bargains and didn’t buy one, now dd wants one in her stocking and I can’t be bothered to go back to Home bargains (it’s miles away), they are around £8-£10 on amazon, has anyone else seen them cheaper as I don’t usually spend more than £5 on stocking presents.

Can anyone remember the name of the travel mug on earlier threads that didn’t spill when knocked over?

tabbycat985 · 04/12/2019 10:34

@imsorryiasked That site is so cheeky, I'm going to end up spending a fortune

@EvilHerbivore I hope you're on the mend & able to get home soon!

Matalan code for 20% off, needs used by the end of the day so I hope someone can make use of it

Ruralretreating · 04/12/2019 10:35

Thanks @flooredbored, I’ve ordered one either for next year when bump will be nearly 12 months or for DS2 who howled this week when not allowed to play with the beautiful and carefully treasured ark DS1 was given as a Christening gift!

EvilHerbivore · 04/12/2019 10:38

TwistedAnkle · 04/12/2019 10:42

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 04/12/2019 10:46

Snail and the whale soft toy currently on offer for £11.50 on Amazon. Perfect in readiness for the BBC's Christmas offering. Whale

DangerousMouse · 04/12/2019 10:48

Sorry if I've missed this, but I'm nearly done now so not keeping up with theses threads so much! Has anyone received their hamper yet? I think dispatch date was this week

Tamtam86 · 04/12/2019 10:49

I've just seen that Pick a Pine Tree is on

Tamtam86 · 04/12/2019 10:51

gaggiagirl · 04/12/2019 11:20

@Lovemusic33 Sainsbury's had burrito pets around the £6 mark last week

christmassymcchristmas · 04/12/2019 11:21

@tabbycat985 I needed new bedding. Got some in the matalan sale and saved with your code. Thanks! Smile

BlueSkyAtChristmas · 04/12/2019 11:22

@Carrie76 the West Loop by Contigo is the only travel cup I’ve had that doesn’t leak If rolling around in your bag: it’s amazing, but expensive. Let us know if you find a good deal.

Lovemusic33 · 04/12/2019 11:26

Thank you gaggiagirl I will check Sainsbury’s, £6 sounds more reasonable.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/12/2019 11:47

lovemusic the cutetitos are £8 in Argos or in the 2 for £15 if you need other gifts from that offer. my dd collects them they are pretty cute and good quality. there's babeitos too which are £5.99 on Amazon but they are smaller and the burrito is not as soft or nice quality.

Shufflebum · 04/12/2019 11:54

Has anyone seen the oversized hoody blankets for less than £25, need a few for nieces and nephews

funnyfeeling · 04/12/2019 12:20

I was in Primark earlier and the Peppa mouldable soap was ringing through as 50p instead of £1.50. Not a huge amount of money but might be useful for stockings.

Does anyone have an idea for a couple gift for a professional couple in mid/late 30s? They enjoy cooking so I think something along those lines but I'm just stumped. Budget is £20-£25.

PinkDaydreams · 04/12/2019 12:20

Another moan about Truprint. My two photo mugs have arrived today and they are so blurred and generally bad quality. Customer service is shocking and they won’t do anything about them or the bad calendar, even though they offer a “satisfaction guarantee”. Waste of my time creating them and money Sad
Please mumsnetters be wary ordering from them.

weebarra · 04/12/2019 12:24

@Restlessinthenorth , thank you so much for that. I'll absolutely do gel pens and a card. The antibiotics are making him a bit sick and the nurses are so helpful.
Yes bebe have 20% off festive clothing which includes hair clips etc.
