Thank you @TheGriffle for the title. Lots of mole whacking will be going on over Christmas thanks to this thread!

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I would strongly advise people never to buy anything from Curry's especially expensive items. If the item goes wrong within 30 days they do all they can to force you to accept a repair when you are legally entitled to a new one within that time. They rely on you not knowing your rights. If you accept a repair though, you are waiving your original rights as a consumer. Curry's have no morals.

I bought dd's chrome book from John Lewis even though it would have been £20 cheaper elsewhere because their customer service is a lot better.

Flying Tiger stores have the little 3d Christmas trees that lots of us ordered from Amazon/China last month.
They are £7, and look exactly the same!

RhymingRabbit3 · 03/12/2019 16:22

35% off lots of things on the playmobil website. They have some lovely stuff and I think very reasonable with 35% ogg

imsorryiasked · 03/12/2019 16:32

Now obviously I don't neeeeed a ride on horse that neighsand makes clip clop noises but it says it will take my weight even if my knees will be on the floor and at under £30 it's a bargain, right? (Albeit a slightly politically incorrect one!)

Lovemusic33 · 03/12/2019 16:51

I think I need another child, mine are too old for playmobil (I love play playmobil) and I need the neighing pony,

FatimaLovesBread · 03/12/2019 16:59

Thanks for the playmobil tip, just ordered DS a bin lorry for £32 instead of £50

Tiredmummyof3 · 03/12/2019 17:11

Got an email earlier from Tesco, some Lego sets are up to half price off if that’ll help anyone?

BunnyBerries · 03/12/2019 17:35

Little Tikes has 25% off until midnight with their advent calendar code today it seems. Good for outdoor toys - like water tables, sand pits, ride ons, and big waffle blocks! Shock

NeedMoreTea · 03/12/2019 19:31

Dd has just announced we are buying gifts for all the ladies at preschool, and I had completely forgotten all about them! So do you guys have any good ideas for 8 small gifts that aren't chocs or biscuits (I expect they must get a lot of these).

Leflic · 03/12/2019 19:44

Has anyone seen any wobble bottomed drinking glasses in any shops?.they might be called rocking bottom glasses?. There are a few on Amazon and eBay but I think I'm running out of time for the eBay ones (best value) to be delivered. It's for my secret santa who is lovely.
Thank you in advance!

Looking for a watch (for myself) and I noticed the watch shop has an extra 25% off most watches, some of which are already a good price.

BunnyBerries · 03/12/2019 20:12

@gaggiagirl

By the way they are free delivery or next day is £1.99 more, so under £10 in total - good for Secret Santas!

wibdib · 03/12/2019 20:14

If anyone needs a cheap but filling stocking present, the Christmas double issue of the Beano should be out now. It comes with a load of little extras including 3 wrapped presents (no idea what these are - Beano nut ds has decided to keep these to have them under the tree from his friends in Beanotown ConfusedXmas Grin) and some Snowman slime and a squeaker thing. But would roll up and be a great addition to a stocking...

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 03/12/2019 20:26

needmoretea nursery worker here!! I second hand cream, lip balms, fluffy socks, gloves, pens (those bic ones with 4 colours are favourites!). we spend lots of time outside, writing things down and washing hands. although one year a parent bought us a group gift of nice teas/coffee/small packs of biscuits for our tea box which was lovely to come back to in September 😁
