New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

Yes! I didn't think I would but I really did. We all did.

Oh that’s good! We love the old grinch so I wasn’t sure whether it would ruin it for us, but I’ll add that to the list of what to watch tomorrow.

I enjoyed Klaus. I watched it by myself , to make sure it was suitable for DS. He's a sensitive child.

DS did really well in his nativity, they all did. They'd obviously been working very hard, very few prompts needed, lots of enthusiastic singing particularly by one of the stars, who is tone deaf DS is so proud of himself!

firefly DD1 is quite sensitive, will it be okay for her? I’m glad your DS did well in his nativity

It was lovely, Firefly. It was based around Strictly! DD had 4 lines and did so well. ❤️❤️❤️

The internet has had a major outage in our area and we have been offline for nearly 2 days, what is an outage fgs? it has nearly driven me to distraction. I've somehow awakened an old whiplash injury in my back. It's painful just breathing and I feel like I need a hard massage to sort it out.

My Mobile is malfunctioning and won't send my messages so l have been so bloody frustrated . I am due a new one so l will upgrade now l am back online . Phew l am so happy to be back online. It has been off and on for 2 days now , as soon as you put the hub back on it goes again it has driven me mad!!!!

That sounds painful have you any Voltarol gel or Ibuprofen gel and get some heat/ice on it , ahh you poor thing, hope it goes very quickly

I think the feeling of panic is creeping in now ....... thinking for weeks "Oh , plenty of time" then " blardy hell, less than a fortnight! "

I have some decoration up and lots of battery tealights on timers ( safer all round , if less pretty than a real flame )

My DC used to get a day off when there was an election , their Primary/Junior school was shut .
Now they're pouting because their 6th Form and University are unaffected
DS can vote today -right of passage for him.

We had 3 innkeepers' wives - one of them was awesome. She absolutely belted her lines out, but at least you could hear her! And at least one of the innkeepers, and Joseph, were definitely under the thumb

My boss has agreed that I can work from home today, ready for round two this afternoon with DMIL!

DMIL and I get on really well, no fisticuffs particularly as she's bringing the cauliflower cheese for Christmas dinner

My back feels a bit better this morning luckily.

Good morning all. I tried to vote on the way to work but having waited for 10 min (and missed the fast train) I decided to vote on my way home instead.
Hearing about The Nativities and Christmas shows has brought back lovely memories. DC are too old now, so I went to a lovely carol service with friends last night. Hopefully, I will manage a second service at my local church as well.
