New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

Fluffy Mum had the most awful row with my sister last night. She rang at 8 l was there by 10 past , she was almost hysterical so am going there now 🤗 no mention of the squits today 😄 all work is me 🙄

I'm at the swimming pool watching DH and dc swim. The dc are free and DH was £5 so a cheap activity it's pretty quiet too.

It won't take long, flouncy, I'm sure. Though there's so much outline on the scarf it may drift to tomorrow!

I've made mince pies for the kids' teachers / TAs today. And pear blondies which look amazing!

I've wrapped some presents too. It's been a nice, relaxing, day. The washing dried well too. 😂😂

Ds likes Morg PSB! Although I banned YouTube about a month ago and haven't reinstated it. They have far too much screen time as it is.

We can't get into the new office until 8am, so I get an extra 15 minutes in bed / the next train, as I get off at a different station which is closer to home / the office!

Wet and windy , don't mind the wind but rain ugh 🤪
Was so busy yesterday, did Mum in the morning, washed her suite covers and managed to dry them in the wind, so that was good, put them back on, moved all the furniture in the front room and hoovered under and generally cleaned. She is having the carpets shampooed tomorrow. Then we went straight away to my Neice in Redditch, to deliver their presents and visit them pre Christmas. We didn't get home till 9 and watched the final if I'm a celeb and collapsing into bed after 😊
It wasn't too bad coming home , the weather seemed much worse here than in Redditch though.
The row Mum had with my sister was all to do with me moving the electric fire out and putting the oil radiator instead at Mum's request. My sister went mad. Provoked Mum into losing her temper with her and then waltzed off leaving Mum nigh on hysterical. My sister said a lot of things to my Mum , mainly along the lines of she gave me 3 big Christmas presents when l was 2yrs old and her and my brother had 2 🤪. Then it was about my Mum taking her to the psychiatrist when she was 14. This was all 53 years ago. Then she saw 2 Christmas cards with money in and went ballistic about Mum squandering her money . She doesn't but even I she did it's her money to do with whatever she wants Fgs the persons the cards with money in is for the grand daughters of a lady who was very kind to my sister and helped Mum , as a young Mum with no Mum of her own to look after my sister, they were lovely to her . Mum feels deeply endebted. Understandably so. I don't know what on Earth is the matter with my sister, l really don't.Mum is so upset and my sister hasn't rung her or been there since and Mum is fretting. Honestly I don't know 🙄

I'm just sitting in my car in the car park by the court. I will have to use park and ride tomorrow as can't afford parking every day but wanted to be early first day so I know what's what. Took 45 minutes to get here so with the park and ride then walk it's probably going to be an hour and ten minutes I reckon.

God Wreck what a pita m'dear. Hopefully you will be able to get home , if you aren't picked they let you go home. I had my wages paid for the full 2 weeks l just had to put Jury duty on my time sheet. Had 2 trials, both fell through due to CPS failure 🙄. Lots of hanging around. Hope you get home asap m'dear 😊

Ahh they reimbursed the car parking and petrol for me. It was about 10 yrs ago though. I did enjoy it really 😊. Hope you do too 🤗

Sorry I posted and disappeared, I got distracted.

Thank you for all your kind words about my lovely DDog1. She is so missed, even DH said he misses tripping over her (she had a talent for getting under his feet )

To distract myself I put the decs up although I clearly wasn't concentrating and they look rubbish so I'll have to readjust them later.
I've also done my cross stitch - just need to add lettering (seasons greetings) and use the Velcro they supplied me to fuzz up the scarf (never done this before, I'm a bit scared)!

On the final push to get everything done this week, I seemed to have lost time this year and I have no idea how.

Sorry I haven't replied to anyone directly, I will try to later when I can concentrate properly
